*****Don’t shop at this dealership till you read this! They lie and don’t care that they do.***** On Thursday April 13 2017, I was at the Marshfield Quirk dealership negotiating a deal. They were at 530 a month I wanted to be 500, so we were close but I was not going up any higher. So after having a good and transparent conversation with Scott the dealerships manager, I was heading up to the Braintree Quirk location to see if they could be any closer. At the Braintree Quirk I dealt with the manager Eric there. I told him where I was with their other location and that I just talked with Scott and he felt confident the deal was as good as I would see anywhere (and it is a good deal, but I wanted the 2% difference we were off to make a deal). Eric wanted to try to beat the number though and went to look at the numbers. This is where it gets sketchy. So he comes back and says he just got off the phone with Scott and he is now pulling the deal at 530 and if I want the car (keep in mind they share inventory so I’d literally be buying the same vehicle at either place) the deal would now be in the 580s. But here is the kicker Eric will do it for $5 less to put it into the 570s, but that is now $40 more a month than what I had for an offer about an hour earlier. So I was obviously offended that a person I had moments earlier had such a good conversation with would pull a deal just because I went to their other location. I was also weirded out because he knew I was going there and said nothing about pulling the deal to me personally. So after spending a few more minutes talking to Eric about how that offended me (with him apologizing several times) I left because the deal was high and not getting better. So I decided at that moment I was going to reach out to the head of the dealership group’s customer relations but wanted to hear from Scott why first. So I call and ask him why after such a good discussion earlier he was pulling the deal. Turns out he did in fact talk to Eric but never said any of the things Eric said, my deal is still available if I want it, and he has no idea why Eric said that. Now I’m angry instead of upset, because this slimy manager Eric instead of just telling me he can’t beat/match the deal I have, decided he would lie, make up a higher offer, and beat the inflated offer to screw me over and steal the business from Marshfield. Like WTF is wrong with people. So hopefully this is where it ends and it wasn’t all a ploy to get me to go back to Marshfield (because after all they are the same company). Either way DO NOT TRUST Quirk. I even reached out to the owner (I only got his assistant) which every day I call she reassures me he is in meetings till 3 and will contact me after… he still hasn’t. So to me, if you ignore this (as an owner) you clearly are in support of this behavior, and care nothing about customer experience. So again avoid this dealership and go elsewhere. You can get a great deal anywhere, so why go to a dealership that lies to you to get your business and clearly doesn’t care to apologize if they do mess up.

We decided to go to the Quirk Jeep dealership in Massachusetts because there are none in NH. We have bought our last 3 vehicles from Quirk and have been very satisfied with our experiences. This time not so much. First of all the salesman we had acted like he could care less if we bought a vehicle from this dealership or not. After we agreed with a deal and decided to purchase our new Jeep we find out that we can’t drive it out of the dealership because they needed some paperwork notarized. If this is something that happens often then you would think that somebody on the premises would be a notary. In addition, the dealership has nothing in place for people who buy from out of state, so we go home in our own vehicle that’s not really ours anymore because we just traded it in and wait for them to deliver our vehicle a few days later over the state line to another Quirk dealership. They also sent a runner who made me go with him to the town hall to get my vehicle registered, for whatever reason is unknown to me. Then I had to find out where they delivered my Jeep because nobody felt it was important to tell me where to get my new Jeep. Anyway, I find it and show up at the dealership with my old trade in and everyone there looks at me like I have two heads. The NH dealership (Quirk Chevy)was very helpful…made a phone call to find out what the heck I was talking about, changed my plates over etc. very friendly even though they didn’t make the sale. So now I have my new Jeep to which I have no idea even how the key works because the salesman who sold the car to us didn’t take the time with us to show us the important features that we needed to know to operate the thing. A few more days pass and we realize they didn’t make arrangements for the vehicle to be inspected. We asked our lackluster salesman and he just said “That is paid by you. We did not charge you for it as we can only do MA Inspections.” Funny they worked with another dealership in our home state to get it delivered to us, you would have thought they would have done the same with the emissions test and inspection sticker. It is a brand new vehicle, why would the customer have to pay for emissions test and inspection on a brand spanking new vehicle. …..and now that the vehicle is sold to us they don’t even have to answer any of our messages because after all we are only the customers that provide them with their jobs.

Funny how some quirk employees had gave 5 stars on this review page. Julie Keohan"internet sales" pulled a bait and switch on me this weekend.O Look she gave Quirk 5 stars on this review site.Im sure as soon as she sees this it will be taken down.Unsure if it pertains to reviews but i feel like its a conflict of interest to review the place you work to make better sales. I am also sure you make some kind of commission. Regardless dont let this place fool you. I drove an hour because i had such a great deal. Comes to find out they pulled a bait and switch. Told me one price online then said I needed to pay an extra 1000 for the 0% finance loan. Rite before i as going to sign for my new Jeep grand cherokee overland, They had tried to add warrantys which i specifically said i wanted nothing to do with. With that being said when i had brought that up with my sales man.He then tried to tell me it was a rebate or something. I then had to take the invoice away and find the extra charges myself. The finance manager is a completely joke. As soon as you see this guy you will understand. the blue eyed sales manager is another complete joke. After i called them out on trying to add things to the invoice he just smiled and said it was a mistake. 1.) How do you make the mistake of going into the invoice and plug in warrantys. 2.) he then says he will take 50$ off the total price after they just tried to scam me for $750. 50 bucks felt like a slap in the face. Please be very aware when coming here. dont let the 5 star reviews fool you. They are mostly employees at Quirk leaving these reviews. If you are dealing with internet sales MAKE SURE you have all your information. I noticed they had reviewed my emails very closely. These guys are all working together and looking to drain every dime out of you.Im also sure they saw this review coming. I hope people look at this review and not waste their time going to Quirk. " Quirk = Crooks " in my opinion
