Salon Riza is modern, clean, and I am treated greeted warmly and cheerfully at the door! Everyone is friendly and I was offered a water right away. I came to know stylist Jenny Candela through a personal recommendation. My hair is thin and Im over 50 so I do have challenges. I felt comfortable telling her about my concerns regarding my thinning hair and she recommended salon grade products that have been helpful in shaping my hair and allowing me to style it with ease. She has also shared tips with me that Ive started using every day and I feel confident that my hair looks its best. I can achieve a salon look at home between visits. After all there is no point looking good for just one day. My hair is chic and full looking when I leave the salon. She runs on time, is always in a good mood, and concentrates on me when I am in her chair. She is organized and her tools are clean. She can do a dry cut, which is a preference of mine. She has saved me from color disasters (especially going too light at my age). She seems to be able to identify a problem and recommend an appropriate fix immediately. One time I went in I thought my hair was "dry". She said your hair is looking washed out...and gave be a color boost (darker but not dark) and an extra conditioning treatment. Ive always been happy walking out of a session with Jenny. We collaborate to try a little something new during each appointment. Its never anything drastic but just enough to give me a new look until the next time we meet. If its something I like I can keep it. If not..Im open to new suggestions next time. I personally dont want to be that woman who wears the same hairstyle for 20 years! Also Tried a facial with Cathy Candela!!!I The Salon is conveniently located on Route 125. The spa rooms are spacious and comfortably quiet with relaxing music. If you get a chance to use the bathroom the faucet is so amazing! Ive never seen one like it. My initial consultation with the esthetician, Cathy, was thorough and efficient. I selected the "Riza" Facial. The facial Is a 90 minute piece of heaven. The products she used were incredible! These products, I can say without reservation, were the very best that have ever been used on my skin. Cathy was impeccably dressed, very friendly, caring, experienced and knowledgable. Her massage is extraordinary! She works at a good pace so she accomplished lot in the time I spent with her. I feel like I know more about my skin care needs because of her useful suggestions about products and upkeep practices. Although I didnt see her while I was laying down, I could tell she was sanitizing and cleaning throughout the facial. The room was immaculate. Im not a fan of painful extractions, and she was gentle with me and encouraged me to let her know if she is causing pain. I like that she explained what she was doing to me step by step. She was very responsive to any questions I may have had and picked up easily that I was not in the mood to be chatty and followed my lead. Her recommendations seem to have come from a place of genuine interest and a desire to be helpful and I didnt feel she was "pushing" products on me. Salon Riza is a beautiful salon with all new equipment. I will continue to schedule facials with Cathy and I encourage others reading this review to take the plunge!

I I purchased a gift certificate for my wife for a "day of relaxation" which allegedly includes 60 Minute Massage, Spa Pedicure, Spa Manicure, Hydration Therapy (Hair) for $170.When she tried to schedule her appointment there was confusion as to exactly what package she had, and then she was told that there was only one day per weeks that all the personnel required for all services were available. When she went to use it today she only received a massage and facial and was charged an additional $14 over the TOTAL value of the gift certificate. Rather that coming back another day for the remaining services.The service provider who did the facial said "Im going to do this service for you" without mentioning extra charges which resulted in two additional charges on the final bill, The cashier did a very poor job of explaining the fees, almost seeming as if she was actively trying to increase the confusion level. I am extremely disappointed that she did not receive the services that I paid for. While she did enjoy the services, the business conduct was sadly lacking.

Jillian Besse is my hair stylist. I have been seeing her for years! She started recently @ Salon Riza and I am SO impressed. This salon is amazing, So modern and fun! Brings a totally fresh vibe to salons in North Andover. Back to Jillian...shes so amazing. The ONLY one who can EVER get my hair done RIGHT! She will listen to everything you want and do it perfectly. Or, if you dont know what you want, she will figure out something that is totally perfect for your style/face shape. You should definitely check this place out. Everything is brand new and so awesome. They also have estheticians available for waxing. This past weekend I saw Chrissie (may be spelling that wrong, sorry). She was great. I have had my eyebrows done by many people at many different places and this was by far the best. Some places may have a better ambiance, but I care about the way my eyebrows look at the end of the day, not the ambiance. And my eyebrows look great!! Please support this new salon. Fresh and unique. Great people and great results.

Im a what some would say a little rough around the edges kind of guy. Not one who would frequent a shi shi type of beauty salon, just not my thing. Anyway I needed a haircut after a few months of just wearing a hat. They were close and when I called they said to come right down they would fit me in. Salon Riza is a really nice place. The people are very friendly and everyone was smiling. They make you feel very comfortable, even before I had my jacket off they had someone available. Again not one for all the bells and whistles but I couldnt help feel good in there. Its high energy, everyone is busy. If I was into more of the manscape thing this is someplace I would go for all that kind of stuff. The place is spotless! So why write a review at all? They are local and we need to support local businesses so this is my way of supporting a local business. Thanks for a great hair cut! See you again when my hat doesnt fit right....

Jen is doing my hair now for a while! I love her! She is doing my hair awesome: cutting and coloring! Because she just opened her own salon with a lot of new offers I decided to try a facial. I booked my appointment and when it was everything started in time. Because I never had a facial before I was very happy that a really nice girl was doing it. She explained everything to me. She told me about the process and the products as well. The whole treatment was very relaxing and just awesome. Through the treatment I got to know a product called "decléor". I think I have heard about it before but I never really gave attention to it. But it is fantastic my face felt so soft after the facial. Oh, and by the way the salon just looks awesome: high-end, very European. There is also very positive atmosphere with all the nice girls.
