UPDATE: 1 month later, my initial problem is back - a flashing brake warning light. So the job they did was not even going to fix the problem. I have multiple dash lights on, my cruise control no longer works (this is located right next to/on the master cylinder), and my airbag light is on. Still no word from Sears Corporate, who marked my complaint as "resolved" after I refused to take $200 off of the purchase price for this botch job. Originally posted on 7/18: Took 7 hours to do a 1.5 hour job because the mechanic couldnt order the correct part, not once, but twice. Opened a BBB complaint and was told that I should accept $200 off of the job, which incurred serious financial loss in my household due to my boyfriend missing a shift, serious stress due to an animal having a seizure since they rendered the car undriveable and he was not able to get home to give her her medication, and to top it all off, the manager (Chris) switched between laughing and making inappropriate comments. The BBB complaint response was full of lies (manager stated doing one thing, then another, while Sears Corp. backed him despite it changing from response to response and consulting some woman who was never there). Within a 5 minute drive, the check engine light came on and had to go back, where Chris and co. swore up and down it was somehow my fault - until they saw the hose theyd disconnected from over the part theyd replaced. Car has been riddled with problems since (fuses blowing, check engine light, airbag light, etc). $200 isnt going to cut it, and my credit card company doesnt think so either.

I drive a Saturn. I had an appointment for an alignment at 2pm. They said it would be about 90 mins.. Ended up being the last one to leave at the end of the day almost at 5pm. People who got there after me all left before me. I overheard one of the mechanics make the comment about another customer "Her car is the Lexus right? Do it now" They finally worked on my car because I stood at the door and watched them not give my attention to my car which had been parked there for hours now. They give preference to those customers with much nicer luxury cars. They tried to make it up to me by reducing my payment by 10 dollars. Im pretty sure I had an early appointment and paid like everyone else. But if youre going to give preference to other customers like this you shouldnt be in business. Never coming back here. Dont come if you dont have a 60,000 car.

I went in to have a tire changed, it took them an hour and a half to change it and then when i went to leave i found out they had gotten rid of the wrong tire so i had to go back to have them fix it. I ended up being there for almost 3 1/2 hours for 1 tire to be changed and then they tried telling me something bigger was wrong with the tire which i knew was false so i had to take my car back without being fixed. Not to mention that when i went to check on my car a few times the technicians were chatting with friends instead of doing their job. I will be calling the manager at this branch as well as Sears Home Office to file a complaint.

I would not recommend going to this Sears Auto Center. I recently called asking if they can mount new wheels and tires. The person I spoke with and the technician he asked thought that my 19x8.5 wheels were a major stretch on a 245/40/R19 tire. This is an OEM size fitment of the tire and wheel. All Q50 Sport models came through with those wheel and tire sizes directly from the factory. If they have a hard time understanding what size tire fits a certain width wheel then I do not trust them with actually mounting or balancing a new wheel/tire set.

Great experience with a simple oil change. Courteous, prompt service. It was a snowy Monday just before 11am, so there werent too many other customers. I was able to walk the attached mall (Emerald Square) with my 2yr old to pass the time. After I had paid and it was time for me to leave, one of the staff even brought my car back into the garage from the lot so I could load my child and stoller under cover, rather than out in the weather, which was a huge help.

Went in for a basic oil change for my truck. I was told it would be 30 minutes max wait time. I was later told 1 hour, so I decided to go eat at the mall. When I went back, they had not yet serviced my truck and it took an extra 15 minutes to get someone to do the oil change. I was there for nearly 2 hours when I was originally given an appointment and told 30 minutes max. Not changing my review until they change their honesty.

I had an excellent experience thanks to Sam Harlow at Sears auto in North Attleboro. I bought a battery for my car and he went out of his way to explain everything and make sure I was satisfied. The installation was quick. Thank you Sam, Im not sure but I think his name was Chris who also was great!!

Always have an issue here. Usual mechanic shenanigans. Had tires changed, after they were changed they told me there was no one there to align them and sent me on my way. Maybe tell me that before

It takes two hours for an oil change and I was double charged for my oil change and the customer service is terrible and they are rude.
