I have a major complaint about the Firestone Tire Store in Attleboro. I bought a used car for my son to take to California. I was near the store in Attleboro and called to see if they had a long wait, they said no. “We’ll get you right in” so I brought the car there to get new front tires which I knew were bad. I mentioned they were noisy and that I just bought the car and needed to know it would be safe to drive that far. They recommended a safety check of some kind that was on sale. I said sure right away. I was told it would be done around done 3:30. I went across the street for lunch and came back to see my car where it was when I left. Then I began to ask for updates and was told it was being checked out. At about 4o’clock they told me what I needed and what they had time to do. I ended up needing four new tires and two new belts. I was told I also need a ball joint and I had a oil leak. As the store emptied and I was alone they were cleaning up and I heard the manager say to get that car down and out of here. He didn’t even realize I was in the still in the store. I was not happy when I finally got the car close to 7 pm. That was not my biggest problem. They told me to get the ball joint fixed soon. I called both Firestone and Sears the next day Sunday Feb 2nd. Sears was open earlier and said they could get the part and after the experience the night before I decided to try them. When they took the car in the said it needed a control arm which the ball joint is attached to. They then asked if I want to see some things. First, they showed me the rear brakes rotators were rusty all over as if the pads never touched them. They said the pads were frozen to the caliper and I had not had any rear brakes. They said this was unsafe. An hour later they were lowering the car on the lift and showed me that both front struts were twisting in the mounts as the weight of the car came down on them. One was practically rotted through twisted in a circle and the other was moving and in bad shape. They said this was even more unsafe. Exactly what did I pay for and what did I get for my lost afternoon and evening, I spent $600 on tires and belts, I discovered later I paid for road insurance which I never buy but I was in a hurry and missed it.

DO NOT TAKE YOUR VEHICLE TO THIS SHOP!!!! I had a horrible experience taking my Volvo here yesterday. I went in for them to simply find why my tire kept losing air. They said before they do any work they would let me know before I was charged. Not the case they did the work on the tire and charged me without telling me what was wrong first. Second and more importantly they didnt even fix the problem. As I was driving it back home from here which is only about 40 minutes the message came over the dash again that the tire was low and needed air. I called them back after pulling over to fill it yet again and the dumb ass has the audasity to say to me well maybe you ran over a tire when you left. Seriously??? What kind of a dumb ass comment statement is that. Does he actually think women are that stupid. I said I wanted a full refund because clearly they didnt fix the problem. He said no and to bring it back in. Bring it BACK IN for what???? I just had it there less than an hour ago and you want me to bring it back in so you can charge me for something else it doesnt need. OK!!!! The best part is when I woke up this morning to look at it the tire was completely flat in the garage. They made the problem so much worse then when I brought it in the first place. Please DO NOT I repeat DO NOT waste your money on these idiots that dont have a clue how to fix a vehicle. Also, most of them were waking around looking bored and just looking lost while the shop had cars on lifts. The guy Rafeal was the guy who was watching TV laughing his head off all while trying to print out my receipt and I was just looking at him like what a fool. Also, on my receipt I noticed they charged me a $20.00 fee for a flat tire. Laughable because the tire was never even flat. Such a scam these auto care places have. Just trying to squeeze any amount of money they can from you. Please BEWARE of this place and take your vehicle elsewhere. These guys are clowns.

I booked an appointment online for a state inspection, it says I will get a call within 24 hours to confirm. No phone call just an email, I get there early for my appointment and they guy looks at the computer and confirms my car. He asked if I wanted a winter inspection or a new sticker? I told him I made my appointment for an updated sticker. He then tells me that they do not do inspections at that location. I said well thats not what it says online.. he then says "I know weve been wondering why it says that but we dont do them here" and I said well NOW what am I supposed to do? He told me to go across the street to speedee but they might be closed. I said probably because it is a Sunday which is why i booked the appointment with them in the first place cause it is the only day I am free. Not even an apology or anything out of the guy. I will never go to Firestone for any service. I understand that not all locations do the same services but for this guy to not even apology for the inconvenience and state HIMSELF that they KNOW the website is not accurate is completely unacceptable. Take your business elsewhere!

Worst customer service. Made an appointment so my wife didnt have to wait to have a tire mounted, and still had to wait 2 hours and the job wasnt done right. She asked for the new tire to be placed in the front, and when the job was completed they said they would have to charge us to rotate the tires because it was a directional tire. The tech never bothered to check if any other tires were directional. When I called to find out their side of the story, they informed me the tech was new and they would follow up with him. We were given a free oil change coupn, and when my wife informed him the car is synthetic, they said we would get a discount. What kind of techs do they have that dont know a car is synthetic and doesnt know a tire is directional untill the job is done. Never again will we bring our business there.

Whats the point of making an appointment. Waited over an hour past my appointment time for them to look at my truck and took care of other customers who walked in after me before me. Mechanic was very rude and could care less, just because Im a female dosnt mean Im clueless to vehicles. Only good thing was the gentleman named Abraham who kept apologizing when it wasnt his fault. If I ever do come back he is the only reason why
