I was not happy with the service that I received from Assured Service Plumbing & Heating of Northborough Ma. I have to say that this business is really not about its customers. I recently called them to come out and check on the hot water heater due to a leaking condition. He came to our residence and indicated that the water heater needed to be replaced ASAP. We originally purchased our heating system and indirect water heater from them. He indicated to me at the time of the sale that our hot water heater had a lifetime guarantee. We purchased our water heater and heating system in 2005. Four years later the water heater failed due to a hard water issue and was replaced under warranty. At that time they did not recommend that a water softening system be installed to prevent the unit from failing again. Four years after that the water heater fails a second time. Assured Service Plumbing & Heating told us that the water heater would not be covered under warranty where it was replaced once already and quoted us a price of $4000.00 to replace along with a water softening unit. I took it upon myself to go out and purchase a water heater from a local business. When I told him what model I had, he told me that it was under warranty no matter how many times it fails and for whatever reason. He called the manufacturer and 3 days later delivered a replacement water heater to my home for a small delivery fee. I am ashamed of Assured Service Plumbing & Heating for trying to take advantage of me and will never do business with them again and strongly recommend that you don’t do business with them. Remember when it comes to the consumer, ”Honesty is always the best policy”.

Eric keep postponed on getting his job done. Thought I could trust and finished paying him in advance because he says they are pretty much done with almost everything and he need to pay his guys. He promised to come back out to finish with thermostat when cooler day come, because the attic is too hot to work on. Very stupid of me to trust him and pay him. Cooler days come and I keep calling him and he keep schedule me in but never show up and keep on reschedule and never show up. They finally come after many times of trying to reach him for urgent matter of no heat (he just installed new furnish). They come to find reason to blame us for cutting the thermostat wire which we didnt do. He want to charge me if I want him to fix it. The furnace just get put in by him less than 4 month ago in summer. He send his guy in keep saying I dont know. When I call him to talk, he keep hang me up. This is not a way to b treat a customer. Its hard to find good and trustworthy plumbing and heating. But assured services definitely fail in doing business. Please dont use them if you need the job done right. If you do use them anyway dont let him talk you in finish paying him until the job is COMPLETELY done. So so DISAPPOINTED! !!

Several months ago, charged us $500+ for a Symmons Termpertrol bath faucet rebuild to stop a drippy bath faucet. Two guys showed and were in and out in under an hour. Called around when I returned from work and was quoted $135 and $150 for the same Symmons "rebuild" job by 2 different plumbers. We had a plumber in this week to fix the drain in the same tub and he noticed threads were loose in the faucet, so he tightened for us. I cant help but feel taken advantage of. I will never use Assured Service again, and I do not recomend this plumber, plenty of less expensive plumbers out there that Ive found do better work.

I began using Assured Service years ago when I lived in Boston. He replaced my 25+ yr. old unit with a new, much more efficient unit. He showed up when he said he would and did quality work - and didnt leave a big mess. He also informed me of the available Mass Save rebates. I no longer live in Boston now, but I still own houses in Massachusetts. Assured Service is great about servicing my houses whenever the need arises and he also services my Plumbing needs too! His pricing is fair and he wont try to sell you something you dont need. I just wish he could service my Connecticut properties too.

I was told by another service company that I needed a new boiler and water tank. I called Assured and Erik came out the house the same week. He quoted me a price that was hundreds of dollars less than the lowest quote we received from other companies. Two weeks later, his crew came out and replaced both units in two days and we were never out of heat or hot water for more than a couple of hours. Im completely satisfied with their work. I wish all service companies were this easy to deal with.

I use Assured Service for all of my plumbing. I have a large antique home with lots of issues and assured service has helped me every step of the way. From installing a new heating system and central air, to remodeling a bathroom, to leaks and running toilets, they show up on time, call to follow up and always give me a fair price. I could not recommend them any more than I do. An excellent resource to have!
