I contacted Ken for an estimate on a sewer pipe replacement. He came out and gave my mother a verbal estimate for my pipe. My mother told me he seemed like he did not want to do the job. I emailed him a few days later asking for a written quote to which he did not respond. I called him the next day around 8pm and surprisingly he answered. I asked about a written estimate and he told me he only does free verbal estimates. He never said this before now. He also told me I could "maybe" get a written estimate by Sunday but he was "kinda busy." He further stated that he "never talked to me before." This was a lie as we communicated through e-mail, he spoke with my wife on the phone, and my mother in person. I pointed out how we had already spoke and that he was now contradicting himself. At this point, Ken hung up on me. Throughout this entire conversation it was evident Ken was intoxicated as he was slurring his words. I have no issue with drinking responsibly after work but if your going to do that-dont answer the phone. He was extremely unprofessional, displayed a lack of integrity, was not at all interested in doing the work which he could have just said that from the beginning, and was the highest quote we received (I just needed the quote in writing for a specific purpose). There is absolutely no way I would recommend him to anyone even if he did good work. So, if you like unprofessional plumbers then by all means give Ken a call.

I had a pretty horrible experience with this plumber. About 10 months ago he was at my house to repair a faucet on my bath tub. He gave me an option to repair it or replace it. I had asked him to repair it but he claimed he replaced it. When I questioned this, he started yelling at us and said he would rip apart everything and would take me to court etc. I ended up paying him the replacement cost. Fast forward 10 months, last week my faucet stopped working. I called him and now he says there is no warranty on repairs (this in spite of charging me for replacement and giving me a receipt that says that this work has 1 year warranty). I will never ever work with this guy. Be careful as he charges a lot of money for small jobs and his warranty is pretty useless as he never honors it anyway.

When you need a plumber Ken shows up. And he actually shows up on time. Quality of work is phenomenal. He always uses good material. Most importantly he cleans up well when the job is done. Well worth it for this quality plumber.
