Ever since I was ambushed with the surprising news of Atlantic Brokeband taking over Metrocast, I mysteriously started to experience internet issues. I was without internet for almost 3 weeks because I refused to wait on the phone for 3 hours to speak with a representative to address THEIR, not mine, problem. I tried using their callback feature but surprise, what do you know, they never called back. After finally getting through, I set up an appointment for them to come to my house two days later. After telling them to call my wifes phone later that day to set up a time and specifically telling them not to call my phone because I sleep during day for night work, they blew my phone up and finally called my wife to tell them they couldnt locate my house. While I applaud their quick response that day, the wrong day, I was sleeping and no one else was home and it was the complete opposite of what I told them. 4 days later they came out and said I had a bad cable going to my modem. Weird. 4 weeks, 3 modems, 2 cables, and countless phone calls later I was back online. Now tonight my internet stops working so when I attempt to call two numbers of theirs listed online, I get silence for about 10 seconds then a tone followed by a disconnected line. I try logging into my account online using my phones data and it says my account is suspended and for me to call. Okay, 3 attempts later and I finally get connected to their automated system alerting me that ALL of Connecticut and elsewheres internet will be down for 5 hours for maintenance. Outrageous. This should be criminal. I will be spending my free time tomorrow exploring elsewhere for internet service providers. Talk about wanting to make a good first impression with its newly acquired customer base. Wow. The worst part of all of this is that I have to pay them. They should be paying me. If I wanted to get screwed I would hit up Craigslist or go to my local massage parlor. Oh wait, cant go on Craigslist. ........NO INTERNET!!!!!!!

If you have a choise between Atlantic Broadband and another cable company, ALWAYS CHOOSE THE OTHER!!!! When a company buys out another company, they always let the customers know & send a new address to send payment...not Atlantic Broadband!!! I need to pay a $25,00 canceled check fee for my Oct. payment which I sent 10/1/15, because they didnt even have brains enough to have the checks redirected to their payment address, plus Im paying late charge fees daily until they receive the full amount, PLUS my cable is being shut off daily because Im delinquent. Seriously??? So I had to pay the full amount because my check sent 11/9/2015 wont reach them until 11/18/2015 (which BTW someone from Atlantic told me I could send the check Monday & Id be fine) if I didnt want my cable to be shut off EVERY DAY. Talk about RIP OFFS!!! My bill came in Monday for $318.54 yet I paid $325.30 today plus my $25,00 canceled check fee...way to do business assholes

Yesterday marks the third time that I had NO phones or internet service, since Metrocast sold to Atlantic!!! Using my cell phone, I used up my minutes, holding for hours, creating an overage, which cost me!! You just cannot get past customer service, IF you do get that far. TERRIBLE service. I got up at 6am this morning and finally got a live voice to send a signal to my wifi to clear it. They do not deserve even a one star. Totally unacceptable service!!! So tired of listening to their music on hold!!!!!

If I could give no stars I would. Cable has been out twice in a month both times called 4 times and waited an hour before hanging up the phone. When I finally got through to someone last time cable was out they stated they would have someone come to the house. They never showed and a few days later we somehow got our cable back. Now dealing with same thing tried calling and tried the on-line chat and nothing. This service absolutely sucks!!!!

The first indication we had that Atlantic bought out Metrocast was the message we heard when we called to report our phone and cable outagebe.After being on hold fir 20 minutes. Weve now been without phone and internet for40 hours. What a welcome to Atlantic Broadband. And we thought Metrocast was bad. Out of the frying pan and into the fire

This company has the worst customer service I have ever seen. They have a monopoly in my area so there are no other options. I am considering switching to Frontier. I made one call to them and the customer service level was like night to day. Boo to Atlantic Broadband!

Phone service is down in one of our office locations it took two days of waiting on hold to finally get through to a live person for support and he said that he did not have the access to help me and someone else will need to call me back later.

So far....SO BAD. Metrocast was fine. ABB came in and messed up everything. Service drops every 30 seconds during high traffic times. Im currently on hold for 35 minutes. Terrible customer service!
