Dont bother with this company! They suck!. They suck at customer service. Their overpriced. They forced us to get the DTA box then they made us CALL them to activate them. The HOTLINE they sent with the boxes never worked. It was always busy. YOu couldnt even activate them online thats how backwards Metrocast service is. It took us 5 days to activate the boxes because we couldnt get through. Every time we were put on hold for 20 minutes or more and we gave us. Very frustrating and they shouldnt even be in business. They have such poor customer service they disconnect you without notification if you miss a payment by 5 days. But im confident they will be out of business by Direct TV VERY SOON anyway! Direct TV is going 5G with no dish! buh bye Metrocast! You suck!

They make you get the little boxes to even be able to see the shows, then charge you for them, instead of being able to buy them. You have to pay for channels you never watch, and we have to get the basic to see the channels we do like, I feel so bad for the elderly who cant even afford it at all. Internet is outrageously priced, and phone if you dont have the so called package deal. We need some serious competition here to bring these prices down. Its my understanding that todays "kids" arent watching alot of the tv we in our 50s do, so we are paying the brunt of the prices. Our eyes arent what they used to be to stare at little ipads and iphones and computers ect...talk about wanting to march on expensive cable...sounds like a plan to me. Eversource?...another one.

Overall, I have been unhappy with the general service that I receive. I had to reach out in order to get help, multiple times. Eventually, customer service was helpful, and followed up to help troubleshoot the problem I was having. After a few weeks, the same problem occurs. I could tell for one thing that they are throttling the internet for subscribers, even though they claim they dont do that, and its high speed. This is the slowest internet I have had in over a decade. Some people here are used to it, but almost everyone I spoke with said they couldnt stand the way this company treats its customers and how poorly the service is... That is, when you get service. Expect for it to go down regularly, for hours at a time.

MetroCast is the worst customer service I have ever come in contact with. They are the rudest people I have ever met and I highly suggest people do not use this company. The policies and prices are outrageous and arent even quality. MetroCast internet and phone has stopped working at my home, but since I have forgotten my 4 digit pin number I "set up" more than 7 years ago when I first purchased MetroCast I can not get any support. The only way they will help me is if they call my house phone that is linked with MetroCast, but since the phone isnt working this is an impossible task. So now my ONLY option is drive 40 minutes with a photo ID to change this stupid PIN.

Incompetent company. I asked for my service to be suspended for two months. They suspended it but now they arent turning it back on. Even though I called them the day the service was supposed to be reconnected and they assured me it would be. They also said to call back at any time if there is a problem even after business hours. I call back at night when my internet is still not working and I am informed that I have to call back during business hours before they can reconnect my service. Pure incompetence.

Ive always had Comcast and loved them! Then I had to go to Metrocast due to moving to a different area. I absolutely hate it, way overpriced. package deals are awfull and have no selction of them, internet is very unreliable. I can get 3xs better internet and pay half with Comcast. Im forced to have it pretty much due to lack of other providers. Setup fees are ridiculous to. I paid Comcast nothing to set me up.

Overall metrocast screws over costumers. I pay for 100mb. You want you know what I get. 21mb and internet that goes down. The unfortunate thing us that me along with other people are stuck with the internet because the town doesnt allow us to switch. Metrocast takes advantage of this and screws over the costumers that have to have their services in order to access the internet. I sometimes cant upload documents.

I absolutely hate Metrocast. Every single time we call for support on why were not getting what were paying for in terms of Internet, they send someone out and just makes things worse. We pay for their "highest" speed. We get next to nothing. Absolute worst Internet service provide Ive EVER had. If you have the option to get Metrocast or someone else. Go with the other one! Itll save you lots of time and Advil.

Less then one star. Their pay by phone always messes up. They want to charge you 7.50 to make a payment. So obviously part of a scheme to suck you into paying their 7.50 fee. Very unhelpful, managers leave you on hold over an hour. Bad service for the high amount you pay. Unfortunately they are the only show in town. And lucky for them. Because everyone would jump ship in a heartbeat.

I called four times over three months asking to have a technician come out to set up a new service, no one showed up. Every time I called back there was no record of me calling before that and was told each time it was going to be taken care of. They deserve all of this one star, hopefully they go out of business soon and a new provider comes in to save us from this madness!

I called earlier with an Internet issue, was on hold for 35 minutes....called back 2 hours later, on hold for an additional 45 minutes.....still have not spoken with a single person. My Internet keeps dropping and this is not very conducive for my on line class. This is not the first time I have had to deal with this lack of support for Internet issues.

Oh well, i was thinking of leaving dish because of the trouble they are having with abc and chiller. I use to have metro-cast several yrs ago, Ive been between direct and dish for the past 5 yrs and thinking of going back to metro-cast, but the reviews i have read, i will be staying with dish for now. thank you all for the reviews in metro-cast.

Not only is their customer service rude and outrageous(just finished my third visit to their office), but what is the deal with this 90 dollar installation fee for internet? Never heard of such outrageous fee. Definitely miss Comcast and I cant even believe Im saying that. AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE IF POSSIBLE

Its a known fact their service is poor but on top of that they are grossly money hungry and dont care about their customers or workers. I saw a tech slipping and sliding during a snowstorm carrying a 20 foot ladder. I doubt theyd pay restitution to his family if he fell and broke his neck. Shame on them!

By far the worst cable company I have ever had!!!! The cable cuts out all the time. The representives dont give accurate information. The bill keeps climbing up and up. Do yourself a favor and do not get Metrocast! Its horrible service and they have horrible customer service!!!!
