I found this place to be pretty inconvenient. First of all there is not enough room for you to park the moving truck outside. I was moving my stuff on a weekend and I got to this storage area and actually had to wait for room by the door!! You see there is only ONE sliding door that allows access to the all storage units. The units are inside a large retail space in a strip mall and the original entrance into whatever this space was used for originally is the ONLY way into the building with all your stuff! So here is how it goes: you pull up and park in the large parking lot, my experience is that there will already be other trucks there unloading, and you wait because everyone is trying to get through the same sliding door. Now you could try to unload where you are parked and try to carry your items to the building, but you see the rest of the strip mall still has other businesses in it so it has a typical parking lot out front with people driving through (picture trying to move you belongings across a Stop & Shop parking lot). Now this sliding door, the only way in, has a lock. You have to swipe a card EVERY TIME you need to get through so dont plan on having anything in your hands. They have handtrucks avail but my experience was a battle to get my hands on one. So assuming you finally get inside you better have known ahead of time that, number one there are two floors to this place and NO ELEVATOR, and two that once you get inside you might still have to walk another hundred yards to get to your unit!!!! This place was designed with profit in mind and nothing else. Not to mention the roof leaked above the unit they tried to give me. I had a horrible experience here and regret having chosen this place, in June I am moving my items to a different facility. Oh, and they would not let me use my lock I had to buy one from them to use, so shady....

Ive never taken the time to write a review before but this was undoubtedly such a horrible experience dealing with the people at the Uhaul, Salisbury location in particular that I felt compelled to this time. This has to be the poorest service by far that Ive ever experienced- not just with Uhaul but with ANY company ever. Not to mention the so called "manager" is harassing, rude, and worst of all uncooperative- absolutely no common sense or understanding. They have been continually harassing me for a payment that has in fact already been paid, yet they still continue to call me and the collection agency as well as tax me late fees, etc...Good luck if you decide to store your things there because if the experience is anything like the one I have repeatedly had, it will end with a massive headache, higher payments than should be, and the eventual relocation of your stuff to a more sensible storage company. Its unfortuante that they turn such an easy thing into brain surgery. Best advice would be to find another storage unit in Salisbury and save yourself the future hassle.

I usually dont write reviews, but after reading ArmyWifeZs review I felt as if this deserves my .02. My company has been renting two storage spaces inside the facility for well over a year. It is always clean through and through, and well maintained. We have never had any issues whatsoever. The manager is an extremely easy-going and understanding man, and posts his mobile phone number on the door so he may be reached at any time. Ive even had to phone him after hours when there was an issue with my access card, and he came over (more than four hours after the facility had closed) to take care of it. Their prices never fluctuate, and are clearly posted in the office. Ive had such a good experience, I will be getting my own storage unit when I move and need to store my belongings. Ive been in there long enough to see some of the people who rent units. They seem confused that they get locked out when they dont pay their bill on time, and get belligerent when they are informed of the late fees that they agreed to pay on their rental contract.

My wife scheduled an appointment and when she arrived they booked it for the wrong day. When they installed it they didnt even include the necessary pieces. When she expressed concern that the hitch was not correctly installed the front desk staff treated her extremely rude and they told her it was. When she came back to get the adapter she was treated extremely rude and negatively by the front desk staff. When they gave her the adapter they did not have all the pieces included and when she tried to put it on they only then realized that they did install it wrong. When she returned to have it installed properly she was trying to discuss with the manager and he told her to shut up. All of this rudeness from the staff was in front of my 3 children. This has been a customer service nightmare for our family and we are going on day three and still no hitch from Uhaul.

I had three Uboxes that this location was supposed to deliver in mid June. They did deliver three, except one of them wasnt mine. Weeks later, after spending hours on the phone with customer service and getting yet another incorrect Ubox delivered, they discovered that the correct Ubox was sitting in their warehouse in Salisbury the whole time. They charged my credit card for thousands of dollars of duplicate charges. Two other people had their boxes shipped from Arizona and delivered to my house - Im sure they wouldnt be happy if they knew U-Haul delivered their goods to a stranger. Im still being charged rent for the uboxes that arent mine and they wont come pick up their last ubox. When you call your call will go to some central number somewhere where no one will know anything. Zero accountability, zero follow-through. Hopefully posting this will get someones attention.

I bought a trailer hitch from the U-Haul in Salisbury two years ago. First year we had to have them replace the electrical connection because the trailer lights stopped working properly. Second year the lights stopped working again so my wife made an appointment for 3pm but when she got there she was told that the mechanic went home at 3 so no fix so she asked about the coming Saturday but was told the mechanic didn’t work weekends. I had to have a local mechanic replace the electrical connection. We wont be buying anything from them again!!

I have been renting a unit here at the Salisbury U-Haul and have found Stephanie and Scott to be 2 of the nicest, easiest people to deal with. When I had a problem, it was solved immediately. The facility is clean, quiet and climate-controlled, just as promised. I would recommend this storage company AT THIS SITE, with NO HESITATIONS! They are GREAT!

I ordered a hitch for installation, and it arrived damaged. The delay would have cost me the opportunity to move my stuff. But Darrell drove an hour to Boston on Friday night to pick up a new hitch, and he installed it first thing Saturday. He saved the day! Thank you Darrell.
