My wife and I are first time home buyers in Quincy, MA and we used Bill Tierney as our buyers agent. He was knowledgeable about the market and the home buying process, and he was very patient with us and flexible with his schedule. He was instrumental in both helping us choose the right home and also getting through the offer, P&S, and closing processes smoothly and without delays. He knows the market inside out, and he knows how to negotiate with sellers. He is also experienced with short sales- although we didnt buy a short sale, we looked at one and he helped us understand the pros and cons of buying a short sale. We are all moved in now and loving our new home. It is perfect for us and we thank Bill for his hard work in helping us get the right home for the right price. After having our condo on the market for over a year with a different agent, we took it off the market. I got a mailer from Bill and ended up trying to sell again with him. Bill marketed the condo well using channels that people shop with these days - namely the internet. He had professional photos taken and got it out there on sites like Zillow and Yahoo homes. Quickly people began to request showings and we received a couple of offers on it over several months. Our condo had a number of issues that made it challenging and time intensive to show and to sell and it wasnt worth much relative to other properties on Bills plate. Nevertheless, Bill consistently invested time and effort into getting it sold for us regardless of the challenges presented. I would use Bill again if we had another property to sell. (Thanks Bill).

The agent we used through this office pumped up the price or the property so we would use her then as soon as we signed came up with a ton of excuses why we should drop the price. Then after we told her we would not go any lower she said that the market looks like offers are coming in after 178 days. So after around 180 days she came to us with a very lowball offer from a contractor friend of hers and tried to get us to come down to her price. We contacted management saying we wanted out of our contract and they agreed after we went into detail of our agents failings. Stay far away.
