Now that Ive moved out Im updating my review. People should be aware that the average rating is artificially high because they basically force you to write a positive review when you move in. They literally told me to go on my phone, go to google and write a review, and they stood there and waited while I did it. I didnt appreciate it at all and thats why Im reducing my review from 5 stars to 2. Without their meddling Id probably give them a 3.5 overall. The facility is ok. It is new and clean, but they do seem to have made a bit of a mistake in designing the building in that the parking lot is too small. I frequently found there was nowhere to park during busy times, which was fairly annoying. They also need more than 4 carts, because some people are jerks and dont return them to the lobby. The staff was friendly enough, although they were pretty aggressive in selling their moving supplies, which are overpriced. Boxes are considerably more expensive than at UHAUL. Move out was extremely easy via the website.

It is so clean, personnel are helpful, informative and polite. Easy to find, easy to access, security is a plus, definitely would recommend to others. Cleanliness to me is key and they were definitely clean. variety of moving material in the store. Would suggest a bigger loading place, but nevertheless a good experience so far. I wrote the above statement 8 months ago, during the past 8 months i have experienced bad customer service, disrespect from the property manager and even found a homeless person staying in a space that should have been locked, how he got pass the "security system" is beyond me, what was worst is that he was sitting (for lord knows how long) in the space in front of mine and the hallway reeked of trash and BO, i was not able to go into my space because after i called the property manager they had to escort him and get all his things from inside the space. I am disgusted and disappointed with the services i have received. I am definitively moving my things.

Really nice people Amy who is the manager is really nice very helpful we had a unit a little far on the fourth floor but when I went for the appointment she was able to get a close to a unit closer to us when we got off the elevator. Everything was really smooth everything was able to fit. The only thing I dont like is the elevators. I find it really difficult to move things in and the elevator uses the gate code. I understand that its for safty , but its way to complicated to move things in and if you dont hurry and push the floor that you need you have to go back to the first floor and punch in your gate code again and be quick. Plus other people want to get in which is a waste of time for them. But overall its good. Very clean, I love it. The forms of payment are really easy, the 1st of every month and bam done no need to worry until the next month on the 1st. Really love it. I recommend it to people looking for extra space to put some of their things.

Clean, convenient, friendly, organized, easy to load in, etc. I would highly recommend it, so take the following observations in context- Some things to be aware of; that they are not 24 hour access, you need to use your passcode constantly at least 4 or 5 times per visit so memorize it, they do charge you extra to "buy" their own lock (which you will probably never need again its a special cylinder lock), so plan on extra charges for the first payment-"processing fee" >$20, the lock and rental. Savings Tips-Their supplies are overpriced, Home Depot will save you at least 50% on boxes and tape, and they are right next door. Pro Tip- call your renters/homeowners insurance, they probably cover your stuff in storage, mine do, so thats an added $20+ savings if you are insured. NONETHELESS, dont get me wrong, those are just things to be aware of, this is an excellent, inexpensive solution that I would not hesitate to recommend.

I recently rented a room at the new Public Storage at Assembly Square. I want to commend Iury Taias customer service skills. Iury was extremely helpful and patient showing me rooms on several floors and was knowledgeable and efficient discussing all the details of the site. There is a problem however with the elevators at this site. It is inconvenient that you have to push a security code to enter the elevator and the time you have to wheel a cart in, and push your floor number without the elevator locking is insufficient. After wheeling a cart in I had to reopen the door, step outside of the elevator, reenter the security code and step back in, each and every time. My movers also found this to be extremely inconvenient and it added greatly to the cost of the move. They should increase the length of time you have to wheel in the cart and push your floor number before the elevator says "blocked"..

This review is for my initial experience in getting my first storage unit with Public Storage at their Somerville, MA location….it was outstanding…both the physical unit and the staff! Its a new building and I have a 10x30 unit on the 1st floor with temp control. Christine, Nate & Joseph were all extremely helpful but I want to specifically commend Christine, the manager, for her outstanding knowledge, skill,competence and pleasant (actually joyful) customer service manner. I had many questions and Christine breezed through them creating a smooth transaction and an easy transition for me to start storing my belongings. I was so impressed that I decided to rent another large unit very near my first one. Thanks again to the staff…theyre great!

The Public Storage Rep, Chris, was very welcoming and receptive on 11/12/13 when my friend Regina and I went to check out the new Public Storage facility on Middlesex Ave in Somerville, MA. Chris and the other rep on duty were really helpful and professional. They showed us around all the sample unit sizes to enable us make a proper choice of the unit we would need. Chris was particularly very pleasant and appeared professionally confident during the entire process of the choice and registration of our desired unit. Public Storage to have an employee like Chris in this particular facility. He answered all our questions to our satisfaction.

Great great great! This company has really helped me out with my situation and worked with me greatly! I rented my space for only $1 for the first month, the next month when I realized it was a little out of my budget, Angela was more than happy to help me out even when she was at a different store. Wonderful customer service, if I were to recommend any storage in the future, I would definitely recommend friends and family to come here. Not only are Angela and Ashley great, but the storage space is very clean and large. Thanks again Public Storage for all the help.

Linda and Lisa at Public Storage were wonderful, wonderful, wonderful. They were both kind and helpful and lovely to work with and very friendly and professional and everything was top notch. Another gentleman was great also, though I forget his name. He help me and a friend of mine clean up broken glass when I dropped a picture frame accidentally. And another lady was training and she was kind and polite too. So, thank you again to everyone. I am grateful for your facility helping me out in this time of transition and again, great employees!!!!!!!!!!!! :)
