Worse customer service I have ever experienced. Those employees are willing to do anything for an extra dollar. They are deceitful and conniving. My husband made a reservation online for a 7.5X10 storage using a promotion that was ongoing for 50% off where the quoted price was $90 plus a one time service fee totaling $114.50. I received an email confirmation as well as a verbal confirmation from corporate. Soon after I received a phone call from an employee at the specific location where I had made reservation telling me that it was mandatory that I come in for an appointment prior to any move. When I got there, they disregarded my initial request for a 7.5X10 and also disregarding my email confirmation with the quoted price. Lamond, the employee who helped me, stated that if I were to get a 7.5X10 it would cost me $180. Instead he talked me into a smaller unit, 5X10 which cost me more, $100 total. Lamond was completely unclear and could barely explain the contract to me as he kept getting side tracked and distracted. I believed (gullibly) Lamond had sold me best deal. Upon explaining to my husband the situation he was very upset and felt that we had been ripped off and taken advantage of. When we went back to store to fix the situation Lamond offered us the worse possible customer service and offended us both continuously and had no interest in fixing the situation or dealing with a dissatisfied customer. All the while his coworker kept laughing at us. So, if you want to get ripped off and be disrespected as a paying customer absolutely go there otherwise find another storage company, and there are many, that offer good service and arent pulling a highway robbery on their customers.

When I moved out of my apartment in Somerville, this was a great option due to its location, hours, facilities, and the fabulous staff. Lamond and Rhonda helped me get set up with a storage unit, and made a big enough impression that I wanted to submit a positive review. It is almost a month later, and I am sure they dont get all the praise they deserve because it can be so hectic when you are moving things to remember to log in and post, but Im glad to finally get around to it. This started when they accommodated my slightly late arrival after I called on the phone asking to show up early. Lamond was patient, cheerful, and engaging as we chatted pleasantly and went over the basics. A 5x5 locker was sufficient for my needs, largely because the ceilings here are taller (8 feet I think) than some of the other places I called. Their lockers are climate-controlled, accessible by elevator (if not on first floor), and private loading dock with ample space, behind a locked gate. Rhonda showed me how to use my code, and I also bought some boxes which are available in their retail area in front. If you dont use all the boxes you buy, you can return them, they said, which was great to know. The rates here are good, and the location is not terribly busy so it has always been no problem to grab a cart or two in the loading area to take things in and out of the locker. It is worth noting that you can get to the storage lockers later than hours (which are for the retail section; check before going but most nights I think the units are open until 9pm).

SCAM ALERT!!!!! Let me start by saying I havent left this unit yet and already I am getting the run around. I was told one thing by Lamond and another thing by Daniel. When I rented I said I would not need the full cost of the month of August, Lamond said, "We will pro-rate up to 6 days, after that you pay for the full month". He also told me, "give us 30 days notice so you dont get charged for the full month-so we can stop auto pay". So today, July 2nd I call and get Daniel (the other manager)-I give my 30 days notice that we are vacating on the 2nd of August. Daniel says that I do have to pay for the full month. He keeps referring to the contract. Well frankly they give you a ton to sign and initial and Lamond told me something and as a manager I trusted him. I have a call in to the district manager. I will update if this resolves well...but I know the U-haul and other local places dont work like this. This is typical BAIT-SWITCH and I will do everything I can to warn people about Public Storage and this location in particular. Also 1 cart for a huge warehouse. Really??? When I asked about this they said, "people take them". Well put a device on them and replace them. I waited quite a while to get a cart...I thought public storage was one of the better organization-dont let the bright colors fool you.

I dont know what others expect but this is what I expect: - safe: 5 star - clean: 5 star - customer service: 5 star - convenient: 5 star Theys storage units. Theyre clean, climate controlled and very inexpensive for Boston (I got quotes from $220 - $520 / month for 10X30 units). I choose this not because they were at the low end but because other people Ive met in the area recommended them (Im new to the area). I expected them to be a bit ragged since they were at the low end of pricing. But not at all. Clean lobby/office, clean hallways, clean units. No paint peeling, no dings/damage. Its easy to find (thats important in Boston as its a confusing area if youre new to the area). Very accessible. When I completed an inquiry on-line, I got an immediate call that was professional, courteous, and direct. No hidden fees, everything was explicitly stated. When I showed up the gentleman in the office (Gary?) was great. Very helpful. Walked me to my unit to inspect it, answered all my questions about access and showed me all the ways to access the unit. Explained how I could make it simple on move in day. Since I am new to the area, he even gave me pointers to local venues, etc.

I was only there a short time but I rented there with Jay and Amond. They was really kind. Every time I see Jay she would ask me to write a review but i never had the time. I called there today because i was thinking about renting another unit and she explained to me if i was already a customer i wouldnt get the $1 promotion, which is fine. The place was always clean when I came by and easy to move your stuff in and out. They do provide carts and restrooms for your movers and the prices are reasonable compared to other places i looked at. I suggest this place 100% you wont regret it.

This is great place for alll your storage needs! Ive been to uhaul and another mom and pop storage place and i could tell tell you this is the best place thus far. The building is kept super clean and its not that expensive! Lamond and Jieka are awesome! Every time I come by i feel at home with these two characters! Its like storing your stuff at your favorite cousins house who also charges you for storing it there! lol! But seriously they Very helpful and enjoy coming just because of the atmosphere and great service they both provode!
