*Update below* Im actually quite disappointed with this facility. I have been trying to reach them for two months and have yet to receive a call back. I am currently out of the country and have questions regarding my agreement, but the number they have listed on google, their business card, their invoice emails does not work. My friends and family in the US as well as myself have been reaching out to the 800 number that redirects to their office and left messages but have not received any contact back. This is really discouraging for someone who initially had an amazing experience getting set up. If I knew that they refused to remain in contact except for payment with their customers, I wouldve never stored my belongings here. EDIT: this is BEYOND frustrating. After posting this, I received an email but have yet to hear back. If SOMEONE. ANYONE can answer this or put me in cintact with someone who REMAINS in contact with me that would be great. "Hi Mark, Thank you. I sincerely appreciate your email as I have been concerned that the storage place has shut down. I received my bill and noticed it went from $95 to now $113. I looked through my emails to see why the price has increased by almost $20 and was unable to find anything. Can you please let me know why the sudden increase? Also, I will be back in the US the last weekend of September and I will either terminate my storage unit or downsize it. Is there a timeframe I would have to let you know which action I take? What would be the cost of downsizing? If I am looking to junk the large furniture, is there a service you could recommend? Thank you, Heidi"

Worst place to storage your belongings. Only 3 carts available to load your stuff to bring it up. Most of the time there is other people using the 3 carts and you have to way for even 1 hour. On top of that depends on the time you go you could be stuck with not being able to storage what you had to since you cant carry a certain amount of weight without a cart. To make it way better! If you forget to pay they do not give you a reminder instead they charge about $75 late fee, prices go up even with only 4 months of having a storage in there and if you end your lease during the middle of the month you do no get a refund even though they go ahead and rent it to some else and they do charge that other person. The manager Chris has the worst customer service ever. I called to inquire about the late fee and to ask if they could waive it since I always paid on time, his response was NO. Another thing do not leave or forget any of your items behind outside, they will call you about 10 times in a day to remind you to pick it up or you will be charged disposal fee!!!!!!!!!! They close the gate at 9PM if you are in there you are F******, no way out unless you walk outside leaving your vehicle behind, customer service tells you they cant open it and will tell you "you have to get out of their property" leaving your vehicle behind with or without your stuff. Uhual!!!!!!!! Cheaper and better customer service.

I have rented one space or another at Public Storage Malden for the last 10 years straight. In that amount of time I have seen a lot that is good, and some things not so good. I do feel I need to go on record stating that, since falling under the umbrella of the leadership of Property Manager Lisa, all of my experiences at this location have been in the good column. Or, rather, the Excellence: Above & Beyond column. She has somehow managed to focus on my needs, questions, and requests, as they arise, with remarkable enthusiasm despite the heavy demands on her time and attention that this particular property demands of its manager. And if youve never had the pleasure of visiting the Malden office, I can tell you, it is a very busy place. Lisa provides an atmosphere of warmth and family combined with a disciplined professionalism that has kept me from going elsewhere when the corporate office (routinely) raises my fees. I know that with Lisa running things I am assured of a clean, safe, remarkably well maintained, and very friendly facility in which to keep my belongings. I have only ever benefitted from her service here, and have recommended this facility far and wide due in large part to her steady leadership.

Im extremely upset and confused with Public Storages management at the 650 Eastern Ave, Malden, MA location. I admit to being late with my rent this month (September), but I now have a $0.00 balance so why should I receive a final notice in September about Octobers storage rent when October has not arrived yet? This unfairly-given final notice contained a late fee for October 2nd, and a lien fee for October 7th. Whatever happened to the six-day grace period? The statement asserts a false claim to obtain a lien for my property which is valuable to me. Ive received this treatment even with having maintained my rental space for 7 yrs, to which Ive paid diligently every month. If you decide to rent with Public Storage, watch out for their unethical business practices at the 650 Eastern Ave, Malden, MA location because I received their so-called first notice, made restitution/payment for the storage, and still received their final notice to which my property is being threatened. #PublicStorage #unethicalbusinesspractices #loyalcustomer

Since you all have been asking me for months to write a review of your business, here goes.... I cant get out soon enough! Been a loyal customer for almost 2 years, but will be moving my possessions elsewhere. I had a check for payment that was delayed in getting to you, even thought it cleared my account well in time 2/2), 2/1 was a SUNDAY and was received at your office 1 day late and I have to pay a $54 late fee!???? I can tell you on 3 occasions when I did not receive any scheduled mail due to the Blizzards we have received this month in Malden, MA. You couldnt even find the public mail box on my street for 3 weeks. I nicely asked that the late fee be waived under the circumstances and my good standing to no avail..... Not Chris fault, he tried, but Correct the issue or I will take the business elsewhere and write reviews on every circuit I have available.... Now Im going to write the CEO of Public Storage to get his take on the matter... Warm regards.....

So far Im having a pretty good service with this place the young ladies that I spoke with were very polite friendly and helpful explained things to me in extreme depth so I could understand because this is my first time ever using a storage facility its my first month going into it so Ill see how it goes but so far so good. Also very convenient location for me right down the street from where Im moving and moving to only thing that I dont understand is that they close at 9 oclock and then I cant go and move storage after that point because I was moving late at night and that was the only time I could get help that would be one thing I suggest changing even if it requires having a security guard there all night to ensure extra security for all customers safety for belongings and the satisfaction.
