If you live in metro Detroit area and havent been to Antoninos, You are missing out. It is seriously the best salon by far. I always walk out feeling fabulous and 100 percent satisfied with my hair. I get my hair done by Anthony who is the the owner of the salon whom I like to call the grand master of hair stylists. Anthony is always attentive to my requests and he understands exactly what I want. He is very creative so I love bouncing ideas back and forth with him about my hair and it always looks fabulous. What makes him and his salon so amazing is his passion for hair and never ending pursuit for knowledge. Despite his extensive knowledge in colors, cut, and style, he continues to seek for ways to grow. He is also involved in hair shows all over the country to stay on top of latest techniques and trends. He holds classes for his staff every week so his staffs can continue to learn and grow. Needless to say, Anthony is committed to keeping himself and all his staff be on top of their game. And that is why you will get the best hair treatment at Antoninos. Despite all his accomplishment and success, Anthony is so humble. I have been to many other salons in Birmingham downtown, New York and California, but Antonios surpasses them all.

I like the design of the salon inside, and everyone seemed super nice. They were very busy as well, which is good of course. The only down fall with busy salons I feel is that they may rush your service or processing time to be able to get to their next client on time, which means you may not end up with a hair color you are 100% happy with. I didnt get the brightness of blonde I wanted with my appointment, and was traveling from out of town so I didnt bother making another appointment to get it fixed. During my blow dry/styling at the end, I was handed off to another stylist, which is fine, but took forever. For the price I paid ($200 for balayage), I wish my hair would have turned out more like the pictures I showed, as I didnt end up getting what I wanted. I probably wont go to this salon again, and had high hopes for it. None the less, everyone was super nice, except reception seemed a unfriendly.

BOTSFORD-MOH DERM

Walked in desperate on a Saturday (after another salon (6) turned my hair purple and refused to help fix it, even though I had a wedding that afternoon.) The staff was so understanding and my hair has NEVER looked better. Im a blonde and those can be difficult. I am so happy and will be going there from now on. Stylists and staff were informative, explained everything they were doing, why they were doing it and did an amazing job.

Went to get my makeup done for engagement photos and immediately washed it off as soon as I got home. The foundation was terrible, I looked orange and could still see a couple of acne spots. Eyeliner was ridiculous, twice as thick as I would normally do, and the concealer for dark circles wrinkled instantly. She didnt even do a setting spray, but rather tried to sell me a different powder. What a waste of $60.
