Went in for a consultation for a $400 + service today (August 12th, 2017 1:30 pm). I currently am a college student at U of M, wanted to treat myself since I just finished an internship, and currently work two professional positions at the University. I had driven to the salon from Ann Arbor so that was almost an hour drive with traffic. My hair is important to me, so it is absolutely necessary that I can trust the person who is working on it which is why I value customer service at any hair salon I go to so tremendously. Looking at the reviews I was excited that this may be the salon for me to finally do the GK Keratin treatment I have been waiting years to do. First impressions are very important, when I arrived, the lady at the front desk was not welcoming at all, did not even offer me and my mother to take a seat. Eventually the lady who I had the consultation with comes out. Does not introduce herself or ask me how I am- nothing. Instead she asked very unprofessionally how old I am and says that she thought I looked too young to even receive the service. If this was such a concern, why didn’t they ask me my age over the phone when I had made the initial appointment??? I went on to ask the questions that I had come prepared with. Because this treatment was going to change the texture of my hair I wanted to make sure I was making the right decision. As I get ready to ask, automatically, she ignores my initial question. She tells me information about the treatment I can readily find online, this is not what I made a consultation appointment for!!!!!!!! I’m sorry, but my time is much more valuable than this. Goes on to tell me that the treatment will not straighten my hair completely, it will just smooth it- again, I already know this! At this point I am frustrated. Listen honey, Ive done my research so spare me the time and answer my question. Again I go into my question and again she ignores it. Her failure to acknowledge my question made it clear she obviously didnt know much about the treatment or line. She really did not allow me to speak or ask anything AT ALL. I hope the salon can educate their staff more so that future customers can get a better experience than I did. I refuse to waste my money and time for mediocre customer service and horrible communication skills. Moneys not my issue, Id be happy to splurge any amount at a place that can acknowledge my concerns and value me as a customer. I am so glad I had only gone in for a consultation before I had decided to make an appointment for a service. Definitely will not be coming back for the treatment, going to continue my search in finding a place with great service and one I can continue to go to for years to come. I am very loyal to the places I get my hair done and have been going to the same salon for a haircut for 8 + years now and continue to refer them to friends & colleagues. Pigalle, you lost a good customer today.

I had the stylist meri , (said Mary. ) She was really good , we have a hidden gem here. And I only see good things to come. Im the type of client that will show you a few phtos and then say lets do something like that. I love to talk and Im genuinely a happy person. She was able to get what I wanted then made sure it was what I wanted. I went from hair down my back to above my shoulders My profile picture is the hair cut. She can take educated chances You like fun choppy blunt hair she can do it. You want professional sleek I seen the pictures she can do it as well. The store was clean They offer drinks when you come in The receptionist was nice. They do get busy so call and make apointment I will be going back last time I liked a hair cut was from a girl that did hair shows in new York so yea meri, is top notch

I have been coming to Pigalle for a haircut for couple of years now and I have been very satisfied, the atmosphere alone makes me feel like Im at a five star resort: soothing music, exellent service, great attitude and of course gorgeous russian girls everywhere I look (I thought they were models when I first walked in but to my great surprise they are actually hair dressers) everyone is so friendly, even the owner herself makes me feel at home. I can spend hours just talking to the girls, they always seem to have time for me, I never thought just getting a haircut could be this much fun. In addition, their specials and discounts always make things better, I made an appointment for massage next week, Im excited :)

I used to be a loyal client--referring family and friends. When my stylist is continually late and then wont honor a simple request to please NOT use a flat-iron on my naturally curly hair--to please give me a cut that i can wear naturally--his arrogant ego made me realize he has no integrity--not to mention the fact he would rather lose a good client than see the bigger picture: Which is I PAY you to cut my hair--I am the customer--. So with hundreds of salons in a poor economy--Area salons are welcoming and offered me great discount on product and first time cut. I love my hair now that I can wear it naturally--

I have gone to many spas before and tried numerous massage therapists in many different states and no one had done a massage for me the way Pigalle’s massage therapists have. I felt every nerve & every muscle relax. I’ve actually tried 3 massage therapists that they have there and I like them all. I live in LA and every time I visit Michigan I have to book a massage at Pigalle’s spa that’s in Southfield Michigan. You must experience their massage, because a great massage did wonderful things for myself and people around me.

The service I received for lash extensions was great. I had a previous bad experience with another lash servicer and was about to give up on lashes. A friend of mine suggested one more time with her lash stylist and I am so glad that I did. They are thick, dark and beautiful. I dont wear masscara unless its close to getting a touch up. Also they are very natual looking. A bit expensive but beauty cost sometimes. valerie

I love this salon! Ive been going here for over a year and always leave feeling and looking great. I normally see Simon who is amazing! They just started sending out email and text confirmations which is awesome because I almost forgot about my appointment until I got the text reminder :)! Such a great team and I love that they are so tech savvy and sending out reminders for busy clients like me!

I got my eyebrows done by Irina (microblading). I would recommend her to anyone looking to get their brows done (microblading), hands down. They look so natural. She did a very good job! For her, Im grateful and thankful I dont have to color them in every single day anymore :) I also get my hair done with her too now and again would recommend her for services. :) thank you Irina!
