went in for an alignment after getting larger tires put on my jeep. the manager at the shop that did my tires had discount cards for alignments here. i set up an appointment and got in the next day at 345 and my vehicle was taken into their bay within 10 minutes. no other customers were inside or came in for about an hour after i arrived, just me and Cory behind the desk, who was very polite and i talked with him and another employee for awhile. i will admit their staff was very polite. while sitting in the lobby another mechanic walked in to ask Cory if there was anything to work on since he said he had nothing to do, including clean the shop which ill add was also very clean for a mechanic shop. i say this because i want to make clear it was very slow that day. after the better part of 2 hours comes, the guy i assume was the owner, i forget his name, older guy with glasses, calls me into the front office to tell me they didnt do the alignment because my adjustment sleeve was broke and the job couldnt be completed property. after asking to see the part in question i was walked back and saw the cracked sleeve. they said they found it that way after removing the clamp that was over top of the sleeve. now im not able to prove they may have accidentally broken it when trying to tighten or even loosen it, or if it was already broke, but i do know that the owner told me it was already like that before they had it. i found it a little hard to believe that after 1.5 hours with my vehicle back in the shop and on a slow day that it took them that long to find a broken sleeve on top of having performed no work on it as per the owners words. i will say that my vehicle is strictly used on paved roads and highways, no offroad use and that the steering setup was replaced almost 2 years ago shortly after i bought the vehicle. i dont know how long those sleeves are designed to last but ill say it wasnt an aftermarket heavy duty setup, just a stock replacement. moving on, i was told i would now be looking at slightly more than double the cost of an alignment to fix the issue, just over $130.00, being told i wouldnt be charged for labor only the part needed. i was given a loaner for the night and told it would be ready the next day. i called around to a few jeep suppliers asking about the sleeve and breaking chance on them and got mixed reviews, some were surprised that it was broke so quickly while another had seen the issue before. no real supporting evidence there. i picked the jeep up the next day as promised and went on my way a bit upset i had to pay so much for an alignment. i got an email about a week later from AAA to rate my experience. i will say i was slightly harsher on that review and probably assumed things i stated as fact but beside the point. the same owner i delt with that day called me up to basically tell me in the nicest way he could to get bent and not return, after seeing my review. i told him i felt the entire ordeal was slightly suspicious with the work done, i didnt bother to mention to him my jeep still pulls to the right just as it did before i went in after a week of driving. the first few days were noticeably better but it quickly got back to pulling right. overall their staff was friendly minus the owner over the phone, the place was clean and the majority of customer reviews are very good, this is just my one and only experience with this place. i will stick with my usual mechanic that quoted an alignment for cheaper than this place did with a discount. maybe alignments just arent their thing as ive seen other negative reviews regarding customer alignment jobs, but its my word against theirs and theres really no chance of bothering to argue or fight them over this. best to bite the bullet and move on. i would recommend calling a few other shops around your area and getting estimates before making a decision.

I just took my car there on a recommendation. BIG MISTAKE!!! I was talked to like I had no idea what parts of a car were. The technicians could not find any readings on my car and began replacing fuses that I did not ask. When I called to ask Jeff which ones were put in, so they may be removed, he laughed at me and said I could bring it back. Jeff said his technicians would not remember which ones they replaced. I told Jeff they completely went against everything he told me over the phone (that they do not fix anything without permission). Jeff said "Take it back to your normal shop where you get it fix. Oh yeah - they dont know anything, that is why you can to us." No Jeff, the reason I came to you was that my co-worker is a friend of the owner and I was guaranteed that my car and myself would be treated with respect, which did not happen. My car smells like old food and drives worse now that when I brought it in. Thank you for telling me your guys "tromped" on the gas to force it to drive fast. When I brought your horrible pee-smelling, unsafe (broken windshield, broken side mirror & wobbly steering) "loaner" vehicle to your shop last night some woman came screeching into the parking lot grabbed the keys and said "Is the car alright", and sped off with it into the back parking lot to lock it away. All around POOR and RUDE customer service. What I was told would be no charge "per the owner" turned in to an $80 charge, with no results. Just a waste of my time, loss of my vehicle and 100% stress. I am very sorry that I did not take it to my regular small-town shop, which has serviced the vehicle for 10+ years. I tried to help a friend and get a lower cost, but obviously the saying is true "you get what you pay for"!! I am still paying............

Saw all the reviews. Thought this would be great place to get some issues fixed on my car. Charged $35 to inspect problems...ok....called me back nothing wrong with one issue which seemed odd that I had this ongoing problem for few months and other issue needed to charge me more to look for problem. Then I get there at end of day, turn on the car and the issue they said wasnt there was still happening. So I told them and they say, oh yeah that will be $300 to fix but they were closing so I would have to leave it or come back. So paid to have inspected with no fix or resolution. Sure they were nice and incompetent with my concerns. Wont waste my time at this shop again. Sorry, I would think they could have said sorry our mistake this is how we can make it right. Not a good experience.

I have had A&H servive my vehicles for over 15 years and have never been disappointed. I keep waiting for them to tell me its time to get a new car but so far they have kept it running like new. They will let me know when I am facing costs that indicate its time to renew, just like they did with our other car. Our new car goes in for general maintenance, or when something doesnt seem "just right". Weve always been treated fairly and with respect. Great people to deal with!!!. I was very surprised to read the poor review on this site. Im not sure this person was at the same repair shop Ive been going to for many years.
