Thank goodness for an honest repair shop! My car was driving unevenly, especially in the rain, so I took it to Kauffman tire, where they said all of my tires were bald and would need to be replaced. They also said the reason they were balding was because of a "necessary repair" that was going to cost $1,500. Along with the tires, they quoted me $2,300. I talked them down for the tires because I needed them, but immediately took my car to Mize Auto to reassess and get a 2nd opinion. As it turns out, Paul let me know that my car needed no such repair, and it actually lasted another 8 years without it (and it was a very old car with a lot of mileage)! The issue with my tires also never came up again. If Paul was after my money, he would have just agreed with the statement I had from Kauffman and done the repairs- it was that easy. But he didnt. I LOVE THIS SHOP! Ive never been able to trust anyone else with my car, and it feels great to be able to trust an auto repair shop!
