My car has been just sitting up their for a week in the same spot without being touched . They claim theyve been super busy but i see employees up thier just hanging out smoking cigarettes. My car is still up their as we speak, other customers has walked in after my car and left the same day. Im a patient person bit i feel like Ive been taken advantage of, every time i call or go up there and ask when will my car be taken care of they keep saying soon or we we will get to it tomorrow but then i still never hear anything from them. Only reason I havent left yet is because i got towed up there my car is not running. But if u need your car fix in a timely manner i wouldnt recommend this place dont fall for the good reviews like i did u will not experience these good reviews. I wish i knew the guy at the desk name he is the main problem, he doesnt keep his word. i would give them 0 stars if i could.

Horrible service. Brought my car in 10 minutes before they even opened (open at 8 am)and spoke to one of the guys and asked to have my front suspension checked. I specifically asked how long it would take and if he could give me a time frame when I could pick it up. He told me that before noon he will give me a call. Sure enough I came back at 1:20 and my car was not even moved from the spot I had parked it. When I asked if they had a chance to check it out he told me that they will check it soon because they are busy and I should of made an appointment. They should of told me that from the get go instead of making me wait 6 freaking hours. Not a honest shop. If you want great and timely service I recommend any place other than this.

If you spend your hard earned money here, be prepared to spend more money elsewhere to fix their mess. Strange noise coming from the front end??? Could be a ball joint, could be a tie rod, hell, it could be a spark plug. Your guess is as good as theirs. On a good note, I learned a new trick... If you pull the break light switch, your battery will die without a trace. A quick jumpstart and hundreds of dollars later I left their parking lot for the THIRD and FINAL time. Guess what... The noise is STILL there! Parts changer at best! No real technician in sight! THANKS TUFFY!!!

(Erica L) Staff did a wonderful job on my 01 Volvo S40s timing belt. Unfortunately, there are other issues contributing to the overall performance of my car. But the job they did on my belt defiantly helped improve the performance of my car. I will be back soon to find out what is wrong with my headlight. Big special shoutout to Nick for having the patience to deal with me calling every 2 hours or so to check on Pandora. Love love love the staff here. Thank you from myself and Pandora ❤️

They are Personable. They actually really care about good service and a good deal. My wife and I were a little tight on money and we desperately needed a brake job. The guys at Tuffy gave us a great deal! The have called me, as well, and told me when a problem occurs and if it is something I could fix myself AND they didnt charge me for the diagnosis. Came to Tuffy for warranty work on the front end suspension of our vehicle. The technicians were very helpful throughout the process, and worked very hard to keep things moving forward with our warranty company. We never felt they were trying to get money out of us or charge us for anything unreasonable. The work itself was done quickly and professionally. I would highly recommend Tuffy for their quality work and high level of service.

I am changing my review i just received a call from the real manager and he sounded upset not with the review but with the work that was completed by his shop and wants to make it right so i will be taking my truck back so he can make it right he sounds like he really does care about his business and customers ill let everyone know the outcome..i gave 2 extra stars just for the phone call i might be adding more..

I have had my vechile fixed at Tuffy a few times, and everytime Im in there the service is excellent. Great service from the manager to the technicians who work on my car. I have never had a problem with any work they have done, and feel they have my best interest in mind when taking care of me and my car. They really care about their customers! Ive found out about Tuffy Clinton Twp in 2008 and have been coming here since! Tom & Mechanics have been diagnosing & fixing my vehicles for 9 years. I wont go anywhere else. Great service and prices and no shortcuts taken while fixing. He has worked on 6 different vehicles of mine at least (family of 5, somethings always happening!). 39.95 alignment coupon is a joke!. Their going to tell you that you need something fixed in order to do the alignment. First visit for alignment they said lower ball joints.So I had someone fix them at a much lower price.On second visit they said I needed pitman arms in order to do the alignment.Much Better off going to Crane.

Tom and his team did a wonderful job in replacing my headlight and headlight cover for my car. The price was affordabe and his team got the job done. Tom and his team are also incredibly friendly. I also plan on utilizing their reward club card for return visits. Highly recommended.
