I am so sad to write a negative review of this Planet Fitness location because I have been coming here for several years. This gym USED to be great but it has DECLINED GREATLY over the past year or so. It is now a POORLY RUN location, especially when compared to other local Plant Fitness locations. First, the exercise equipment is getting old and many machines are constantly broken. I regularly see "out of service" signs time-after-time on equipment, and those sign are often up for days on end. And a few days after a piece of equipment is repaired, that the same piece of equipment is broken again because it was not fixed correctly the first or second or third time. This has been going on for the past several months. The gym is also not as kept as clean or organized as it once was. If you put anything on the floor while exercising, it will be covered with hair and dirt when you pick it up. That is not a one-time observation, but something that happens almost every time I go there and place something on the floor. The bathroom, which at one time was kept clean and fresh, now smells stale and is dirty. For the most part, the employees are nice, but they dont seem overly motivated. As way of example, I was at the gym this past Sunday. There were three employees behind the desk the entire time I worked out (I worked out for 1.5 hours that day). The garbage cans were full and overflowing, weight plates from the Smith machines were scatted across the gym or on the floor, and pulley-machine attachments were littered on the floor and not put away. Shouldnt the employees have been emptying the trash and keeping the equipment organized instead of merely looking at their phones and talking behind the counter? I would say yes. That would help keep the gym clean and keep paying customers, like myself, happy. There was a day when this Planet Fitness location was first class, but that day is long gone. I will be changing gyms because its difficult for me to continue there unless something changes drastically. This location is declining quickly, so I would look elsewhere for a place to exercise.

i got in to a health conscious mode and got the 20 dollar membership. Stopped using it in 3 months. I asked about cancellation .. Well about that you have to pay a hefty cancelation fee. I did not cancel it at time. Few months later I called and spoke With one of the employee to cancel the membership as the membership was eligible for cancelation. Their employee told me it was cancelled. Now I see Planetfitness continues to bill be which I did not realize. Today I went in to cancel and the manager Tells me I have to pay $39 to cancel. I paid and I am done with this ripoff company. This manger told me they have charged me a total of $160 ..! After review of my statements they have charged me $299.

New Staff are unpleasant. Bathrooms are dirty. Also half of the machines bikes and treadmills dont work correctly. You have bikes missing latches for your feet. And some bikes dont tell you miles you have gone. To much all that worse you have to jump around from machine to machine since some of them the headphones dont work why doesnt this gym fix it I have told them multiple times and nobody seems to care. Same with miles and time on treadmill its always a guessing game to find a machine that everything works correctly. I wish someone from the corporate office would come and see how this place is running.

Ibe been coming here for about 6 months 4 to 5 a week, everything is pretty good, no one really bothers you, unless you answer a phone call or arent really going with the 30 minute workout light, which then they talk to you like a child. Theyre "streching, mat, Swiss ball" area is tiny! Seriously two people can only fit there and if you go somewhere else you feel like youre in the way and might get stepped on. Oh and that stupid lunk alarm is so annoying. Besides that its good

I stop in here on the way to work, and where there are always machines open at 5:30, I cant speak for the rest of the day. The mens locker rooms are usually empty and hour after I get there, but a little maintanance here and there would be appreciated. For a year, the clock in the mens lockers had never shown the right time, and I had to tighten some shelving in the dressing areas because they arent all that well maintained. Clean? Sure. Never a problem there.

With updated layout and new machines installed recently, especially leg press I guess many people are having good feeling about this place. Evening hours are really crowded and if youre into weight training, I would recommend you to skip those timings. Wait time is long and frustrating. If youre on pre-workout, you would not want that to happen. I would like to see barbells and few more weights but meh, where else can you get all this for $10/month.

Its cheap - it has the machines I need - Its not busy - I get a hydromassage when im done.. BUT - I usually go after 10pm - I only ever use the treadmill, circuit & some hand weights COMPARITIVELY - One of the better cheap gyms in the area. - Not one of the better PFs in the county. ALSO I dont get the free pizza and bagel days. Seems very strange marketing approach for a gym to offer clearly unhealthy options - even if that keeps em coming back.

I am a Wellness Nurse at a local manufacturing company. We have Wellness Initiatives for our 200 + employees. Attempted to contact Manager of this location. Unable to get past receptionist. I could not get her to understand that I needed to speak to Manager to discuss options to provide service for our employees. I would describe them as poor communicators, lacking the ability to see the big picture.

Really would have liked a warning before 5:30 this morning that you were going to be closed for new equipment. Guy at the desk yesterday didnt say anything about it when I asked him where the leg presses were. He simply said you were replacing them, no mention of closing or replacing other equipment. Also, I agree with the guy who remarked about a true weight bench press.

Mostly very adequate. Easy to get a nice hour workout. Biggest downside is they dont have a true bench press. As of 2016 its getting a bit too crowded, definitely avoid the 5:00 - 6:30 pm slot weekdays. Definitely bring a lock with you, there have been items stolen from unlocked lockers (i.e. car keys, and wallets). Very friendly customer base and usually friendly staff.

Im happy with this planet fitness. The staff handles problems in a timely fashion. Theyre constantly cleaning and most of the gym members are respectful. The rare time a man blatantly stared at me with no concern for its distactiveness (dont try to hit on women when they might crush themselves people) was handled well by the staff.

Honestly, its a gym. Its not the biggest planet fitness Ive been to, but not the smallest either. I usually go really early (around 5am) so its typically not very busy. Most of the time someone isnt at the front desk, which personally Im OK with. Overall its a gym and Im not expecting much but overall its good for a workout.
