UNBELIEVABLE. I was waiting at my apartment for a package and checked the tracking to find out it couldnt be delivered because "no one was available". I was sitting there waiting. Instead they left a slip in my mailbox [not on my door] and I have to go to the post office to pick it up because the driver was too lazy to do their job. Just dont even take it out for delivery next time and tell me I have to come get it at the post office. Then I would have had my package the day I expected it. Update: drove to the post office, stood in line, waited for them to bring me my package. They couldnt find it and told me the carrier must have taken it back out with them even though the slip was clearly marked that the package would be at the post office today after 830am. Zero apology. So I drove around my apartment complex and happened to come across the delivery person. She indeed did have my package and had zero intention of attempting to deliver. Walking 20 yards up to my door is too much work. Again, nothing even close to an apology.

Absolutely the worst Post Office Ever!! I dont understand how it take several extra days to receive my packages especially when I get emails stating my package is out for delivery. One time I had to cancel an order with a company that is like clock work because the Post Office stated my package have not arrived Only to receive the package a whole month later. Very disappointed with this Post Office as they have some of the most unprofessional and laziest people in the world. Not to mention NO ONE EVER pick up the phones during business hours. I lived in Detroit and the mail was always on time more times even before I got home mail was already delivered. I cant wait to move out of Farmington Hills Absolutely the worst Post Office and the staff and manager inside not helpful!! If I could give half of a star for ratings I would.

Im not sure how the company can be this bad, even if you tried. Very unreliable and if I have a choice from the seller I will never recommend USPSs services at any cost. Priority mail was delivery was delayed a couple of days. Tracking information was not updated for a several days. Ive called this locationss supervisor because the package is still not delivered, they told me that they dont have the package from where it previously dispatched. Ok, it happens. So what is the solution? What I was disappointed was that their only solution was to wait until the package arrives at the Farmington Hills location with no capability to track or to raise a flag in the supply chain. Im lost to how a company can operate in such disorganized manner.

The postal worker that delivers to my house was too lazy to get out of their truck to delivery a package for several days. I ended up having to tell them to hold the package for me so that I could pick up the package since they were too lazy to do their job. Worst of all I pass by the mail truck everyday on my way home for lunch, and the Post Office gave me the excuse that they were too busy to deliver the package. When I told them to hold it for me the package showed that it was back at USPS on hold as of 1:00. PM. If you have important business items you need to receive do NOT use USPS. Every other service out there is 10/5 stars compared to USPS Ive found over the years.

Scheduled a "pick up", online said the package was picked up, but it was still sitting outside. On another occassion, I left two packages in my mailbox, with the flag up. The mail person took one of the two packages and still shoved my mail in there in front of the other package. Last but not least, I was supposed to receive a package yesterday, online it said there was a "notice left"...no notice anywhere. Tried calling the post office 5+ times during business hours to try to find out where my package was. After 2 minutes of the phone ringing (each time I called), I kept getting disconnected and hung up on. Absolutely unbelieveable. Worst post office ever!!!

The black guy working behind the counter who looks like Coolio has a real attitude problem. I went in there today and told him my packages were getting delayed when I drop them in the silver bin next to the self serve kiosks and he told me "well it shouldnt". I told him I dropped 2 packages at The Royal Oak Office in the silver bin during business hours and they got shipped out Thursday Morning, he said well if you dropped them of when no one is there they well get delayed, im not stupid.. Just a snarky attitude, if you dont want to help customer get a different line of work. He shouldnt be working in the post office.

My mail was trapped in a broken community mailbox in my neighborhood. Although it ultimately got resolved, trying to get in touch with someone was extremely difficult. I spoke to two humans during the process, both of whom were very nice. BUT...actually getting to those people and getting the problem resolved was not fun. They need to work on their telecommunications. Phones rang and rang forever without anyone answering, emails appeared to go nowhere, and voicemail boxes were all full. Need to make it MUCH easier for customers to actually talk to people.

Going physically to the location is fine - service is always pretty good and the attendants spend the time needed with you. However, if you are calling in, it is literally impossible to get a hold of someone locally. I called 4-5 times, trying a different extension every time - never was able to reach anyone. It was during business hours (8:40 am), the phone just rang and rang...and another one of the managers VM box was full. It then forwarded to an "attendant", whose number is discontinued. This needs to be improved!!

AWFUL CARRIERS. I keep experiencing terrible drivers from this location. Tracking will say an attempt was made to deliver but there was no secure area to leave package and that a notice was left....they didnt even knock on the door - also no notice was left. Not ok. There is a different driver everyday so nothing stays consistent. PLUS there is a driver Ive noticed sitting in the van reading a book in the parking lot at my complex and not making deliveries on numerous occasions. RIDICULOUS. Hire drivers that care.

This is the worst post office in the country. Delivering a letter from Farmington Hills to Southfield (bordering cities) takes, Im not kidding, 2 weeks. Mail carriers in FH frequently state they attempted delivery, left notices, etc. - lies, all lies. Its no surprise this carriers at this office were caught throwing mail into dumpsters. If you live in FH and want your package delivered to anywhere besides a random dumpster on the carriers route, make sure its not sent via USPS.

"We attempted to deliver your item at 7:56 pm on November 29, 2016 in FARMINGTON, MI 48334 and a notice was left. " They clearly did not attempt to deliver as they never set foot in the area. This happened not only once but several times. As a person living in this area, I am upset that this is my postal office, that clearly doesnt try to please their customers as other reviews suggest.
