Being a west Chicago suburb resident, I searched the greater area around Chicago on the internet looking for a Wrangler Unlimited with the goal of finding the best deal on the specific vehicle I was seeking within a reasonable drive. I found it at Hall Chrysler in South Bend Indiana. I spoke with their sales staff and managed to arrive at an agreement over the phone. Their sales manager picked me up on an early Sat am in mid-October and drove me out to the dealership going above all expectations to help me get out there. We had a nice drive in talking over Dunkin donuts coffee and when I got there I was pleasantly surprised that everying from the vehicle to the deal were exactly as discussed - NO SURPRISES, NO FUSS, NO GIMMICKS, NO HIGH PRESSURE TACTICS. Beyond that, the people I met working there were extremely nice and down-to-earth away from the Chicago hustle-bustle I am used to. I bought a beautiful 2012 Wrangler Unlimited Rubicon that am and had a great drive back to Chicago feeling good about how things transpired. It wasnt too long of a drive, and I enjoyed it thoroughly in my new vehicle. About a month later I received a check in the mail from them for $15.00 having over-paid for title out of state - how about that? Made me feel like I was dealing with honest and good people (which I already knew) - something always great for one of those big life investments such as this. Ive been driving the vehicle for over a month now, and Ive been very happy with it. Hall customer service as well as Jeep National customer service have treated me great to date. I would go out to service there but the nice thing is that I can get it serviced at any Jeep dealership as warranty workcan be done anywhere so I dont think Im at a loss for driving for a great & honest deal. Would recommend anyone from the Chicagoland area drive out to look for a better price probably due to overhead there vs Chicago. Go Notre Dame! JM

About 4 weeks ago,I purchased a 2016 Ram 1500 from Randy Wise CJD, in Clio Michigan. Mark Brown was my salesmen, and with Jamies help, (Financing), this proved to be a GREAT experience, I love this truck! I came upon this purchase, because the new CJD Dealer in my hometown of Fenton, Michigan was substantially below what one would call Medicare customer service and here is why. On a Friday afternoon at 5:50pm I had an issue that required a tow to this local dealer, No one would an ansewer the phones in the Service Dept. After repeated attempts, I asked that the Operator go back into Service and ask someone to pick up the phone, someone did,he identified himself as Jim,a service director, I had asked mim to call his towing contractor to come and get my truck,it needed to be moved that evening, because it blocked a driveway, I knew that the paperwork and repair would not be dealt with until Monday mornig, and that was OK. Jims response at 6:02pm was that Service was closed, and that was that. I did have it towed to another repair shop and spent about 2,000 dollars in repairs only to have heavier engine issues, so time for another truck. So here I am ,4 weeks later in an a new 2016 Ram from Randy Wise,in Clio, I KNOW the service expieince will be Great, the Service Manager, (Tom Skidmore,& Asst. Gene Neuman),Are the BEST, they are well seasoned ,and as good with customers it can get. Oh by the way to the guys @ LaFontaine CJD, after buying 6 cars at that location, and doing a radio commercial for Hall CJD, NEVER AGAIN to La Fontaine! Donald J. LoVasco

Due to a car accident, we were thrust into buying a new vehicle. We had visited other dealerships when we arrived at Hall Chrysler, Jeep and Dodge. Ken Moore our saleman was fantastic. He was friendly, patient, and very helpful. He showed us different options to fit what we were looking for and to fit our budget. Our two boys were with us, and Ken made sure they were entertained and involved them in the car shopping process. Not only was Halls price for the vehicle the lowest without much discussion, Ken FOUND the COLOR my wife wanted!! As we were finishing our purshase, Jim Hall came over to us and introdued himself to us. He gave us his card and said he lives in Grand Blanc like we do, and if we ever need service he would lend us one of his cars and take our minivan in for service talk about costumer service.. I have bought vehicles from other dealers, and this is the first time one of the owners has come up to us, sat down with us, and offered us that kind of service. When we picked up our new minivan the manager came over filled out the paperwork with us because the other people were busy with other customers and they did not want us to have to wait. Ken was very helpful and explained everthing about the new minivan to us. We highly recommend Hall Chrysler Jeep Dodge to anyone looking for a new vehicle. It was diffently worth the drive to Fenton,

I had many good experiences when this dealership was owned by Hall. Since LaFontaine took it over, Ive experienced repeated problems. The people are very friendly but inept. I"ve taken my Jeep Grand Cherokee to them twice and my sons Jeep Rubicon once. In every case, I had made an appointment ahead of time and arrived early, yet in every case, I had to wait in excess of four hours, usually for things as simple as an oil change. My first visit was for an oil change. After I left, I noticed oil leaking and had to bring it back. They had not tightened the drain plug. In my most recent visit, I made an appointment to have an oil change done and a copy of the key for the Jeep Rubicon. I was told the car was due for brake fluid flush, and fuel injector service, which would cost $450. I explained I wasnt prepared to spend that much but they said they would throw in the labor for the key. After waiting 5 hours, I was told that the "system was down" and they could not program the key. So they baited me into spending more and didnt do what I asked. Worse, was when I got home, I noticed that yet again, they did not reset the onboard computer. I would recommend that if you need service on your Chrysler, Jeep, or Plymouth, you look elsewhere.
