This past Saturday I went with my daughter to test drive a 2010 Chevy Equinox at the Randy Wise Used Car lot on Owen Road in Fenton. We got there at about 11:00 a.m. The salesman; Jason, got a copy of her drivers license, gave her the keys and we were off on her test drive. First stop was down Owen Road (VERY busy Sat. A.M. traffic) to the Belle Tire for what we hoped could be a quick check of this vehicle. There was a long line for service at Belle so we decided to drive the car home for her Father to take a quick look. We turned back onto Owen, headed toward Linden and Seymour Road to head north. The engine overheat light began flashing, causing concern. Our best bet, by that time, was to get off the road, away from major traffic. She pulled off onto Cole Road and called the dealership. Jason was called to the phone, she explained the situation, and he told us to stay there, help would be on the way. This was approximately 11:15 a.m. The vehicle that was sent did not arrive until 12:00 noon. We waited approximately 45 minutes without hearing a word from Jason. We were not offered a ride back in another vehicle. The attendant was given a container of anti-freeze to add, and she was then expected to drive this same vehicle back to the dealer ship. Grateful, by that time, that some kind of help had arrived, my daughter formed a funnel out of paper for the anti-freeze to be added, as no funnel for this had been provided. The attendant offered then, to follow us back to the dealership. Back to Owen Road. Busier traffic than earlier even. The engine overheat light flashed again and my daughter immediately pulled to the side of Owen Road. We left the vehicle with its emergency lights flashing and were driven back to the dealership in the "help" vehicle. It was approximately 12:15 p.m. by then. We were greeted by Jason, and his first remark was "So! Do you want to buy this car?" At this point I was completely enraged. Sitting in a disabled, freezing vehicle at the side of the road for an hour had just about done me in. The only explanation given to me by the manager; Mr. Porritt was not really an explanation at all, but rather a disclaimer; "This was not done intentionally" Frankly, it didnt matter to me whether this was intentional or not, at no point did I think this was intentional. It simply should not have happened. This 2010 Chevy Equinox should NEVER HAVE BEEN ALLOWED OFF THE LOT for a test drive. It had NO COOLANT in it - and when my daughter added it she pulled out the oil stick and there was NO OIL in this vehicle. There is NO EXCUSE for that vehicle to be allowed off the lot in that condition. No excuse. I apologize to Mr. Porritt and Jason, the salesman for my loud and upset behavior. I was pretty livid. But it cannot be right that this happened at all. We have purchased vehicles from Randy Wise in the past, and this type of situation was the last thing I would have expected. But it happened.

Wow! Fast, friendly, TOTALLY PROFESSIONAL, caring, customer service! I needed a written estimate for an exterior detail service on my vehicle for an insurance claim brought by my employer against an asphalt company that left a parking lot full of grit covered vehicles, the kind that doesnt come off in a car wash, and could scratch the finish if you didnt know what you were doing, or what to use....I drove in unexpected at 7:00 a.m. and told the first person I saw, he said just a minute and Kenny Paulson popped out the door and I told him what I needed, he said, "Yes, I know what you want, just give me a minute or two". And, he was right back out with two copies of an estimate, in less than five minutes. He said, "if you decide to go with us just give me a call" and handed me his card. I proceeded to another dealership in close proximity and when I asked for a written estimate for an exterior detail service the man sneered and asked, "FOR THIS?" I know my vehicle is now 18 years old, but shes just getting warmed up. So, I turned the estimates in and was notified to go to Randy Wise and called Mr. Paulson and he said when would I like to, I couldnt tell him because I do not get a schedule for the following week (Sunday thru Saturday) until Friday or Saturday. He said call me when you know what day you have off. I did, he wasnt there, I left a message and told him I was leaving and would return at 2:00 p.m. and could he call me to tell me what time to bring it in, etc.. I ran into a snag with the local construction and arrived home at 2:08 p.m. and there was a message from Mr. Paulson. Timely. Efficient. Unbelieveable, this day in age when youre lucky to talk to a real human. He lined me up with a rental, I didnt miss out on anything, and when I arrived back at the dealership I couldnt believe my eyes, my truck is beautiful, and he gave me some hints on how to improve it....What a treasure this employee is for this business, I truly hope he is very appreciated..If all businesses could be fortunate enough to employ people like Mr. Paulson what a happier world this would be....I wish he worked everywhere I need to deal with. THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU!!!!

Yet again, Randy Wise had let me down. I purchased a car last year that was only 3 years old, and within the first 5 months I had to spend over $1000 in repairs. These are items that should have been caught by the mechanics, but were either overlooked or completely ignored. Many attempts to get these repairs covered went unanswered. I ended up trading in that vehicle for a different one, and was promised that they would go above and beyond to make sure I was a satisfied customer. In the end it took several calls to the used car manager in order to get the items that I was promised with my second vehicle purchase completed. On this vehicle as well, I have already spent over $600 in repairs on items that they, yet again, neglected to take care of. I took it in last week for an oil change, I have free oil changes for the next two years with this latest vehicle purchase, and again was completely dissatisfied. Their website was not allowing me to schedule an appointment for an oil change, and come to find out, they no longer accept scheduled oil changes only walk ins. Somehow, I got an email confirming an appointment, so I took my truck in to have the oil changed. Even with an appointment, I was told it would take 45 minutes to 1 hour to do an oil change and tire rotation. I have never had to wait that long at any other dealer or company for such a basic service. I was also promised that they would wash the truck, however after waiting an additional half hour, I found the truck had been sitting in the back lot and had not been touched. It was at that point, I had to leave. Im not even sure I will use the remaining free oil changes, since it seems to be such a hassle every time I go there. They have definitely lost this individual as a customer, and I will never recommend them to anyone else I know. My last car buying experience at Patsy Lou Williams was wonderful, and I will go there for all my future needs.Beware!
