Men, I would avoid this place. I went in making sure I had my hair looking as close as I could to the end result I wanted told the stylist how I wear my hair (Long on the top with sharp fade on the sides and a part on the left, for a young professional look.) Came out with my head completely rounded all over, no texture or anything, just faded into a ball. Then when trying to fix it I was given a higher and higher fade resulting in just the very top-center being long and sides and back being very short. It was everything you expect from a $10 Fantanstic Sams haircut, and I paid $23 to find out that you cant go here for a Mens cut. I will keep having to drive to Grand Rapids for a quality, modern cut it seems. I have to go into the Office looking like I have just a tuft of hair on my head. Good thing my client facing is back on the phone and have no big meetings this month :( Though they may still be able to do womens hair well.

Where to start... Im growing my hair out to donate to Wigs For Kids. I made an appointment 2 weeks prior to just have them measure my hair and see if its long enough to donate. The lady Brittany that I made the appointment to just quickly measure my hair, which would only take a minute at best told the snooty lady from the front desk that she did not have time to do so. Also stated to the front desk lady (I personally did not get to talk to this Brittany personally) that I never made this appointment. Yes it is true, I am a man, who is growing his hair out to donate and make a wig for a child. But, ti be treated like garbage, because (how I saw it) I wasnt "perfect" enough for that salon. If youre rich and snotty and enjoy degrading non [money] rich people, then this is your place. Besides that, I wish I could give negative stars for them.

Service was excellent & clean! I am writing this review to warn anyone that is wanting to get a no chip manicure!!! I have gone here for several services which have been great, but decided to get a no chip manicure. I get them all the time and they typically last a week and a half. I was in a pinch for time and could not go where I typically go and had an event. I had them done and they looked great! However, 3 days after, the nails began to chip and peel off! I was charged $45 for this manicure. I normally only pay $20-30 at other salons, and the polish stays on for 1.5 to 2 weeks. If you just need a manicure for a day I would recommend as mine looked amazing, and thankfully lasted for my event, but the next day (day 3) chipped. Hope people find this helpful!

I love Salon Cheveux! The customer service, the atmosphere and professionalism is second to none. If you enjoy going to a salon to be pampered and feel like you are part of the family this is the place. What I really like the most is learning about the products they use and offer. The ones I love the best are from the Living Proof line. It is definitely the fountain of youth for beautiful hair! It is a product that says what it can do and then does just that, I love every product I have tried so far and my hair has never looked better. My stylist, Bob, takes the time to explain and show me how to use the products and I appreciate that so much! My hair looks as good today as the day I left the salon, what could be better than that?

Salon Cheveux is an excellent salon. I have been looking for a good salon in Holland for years and I am glad I found Salon Cheveux. The location is great being right in the downtown area. The staff are extremely friendly and professional. They cater to your needs from right when you walk in the door and are always willing to give an opinion or suggestion. The salon is decorated nicely and is very fun. Everything is always clean. I would suggest my stylist (Brittany D) to anyone. She is great at what she does and she really knows her stuff. I could go on and on about how much I love this salon. I would recommend Salon Cheveux to anyone looking for a nice salon in the Holland area.

Ive been going to Danielle at Salon Cheveux for at least 8 years. Once or twice my daughter has gone to Danielle, and also to another operator when Danielle wasnt available. This is a first rate salon -- like one reviewer said, SC manages to be both high energy and very relaxing. Danielle Sneller is excellent. In at least 8 years of going to her, Ive always been very pleased, never once disappointed. Shes just as good with color as she is with cuts and trims. As for me, Ive found the perfect salon an the perfect operator for me, and I plan to stick with them. Thanks for everything, SC and DS.

Very poor customer service!! I walked in, nobody was at the front desk. After 5 minutes, I peaked my head around to see if someone was available. Even though 2 staff members saw me, they didnt acknowledge me or greet me. I figured that after they saw me they would eventually make their way to the front desk, but I was wrong! They didnt even bother to say, "Well be with you in a few minutes." I waited another 5 minutes before I left. This is why I always go to Engedi Salon; they have excellent customer service!!!

This is a real nice place - the ambiance is great with all the lightning and especially being in downtown, it does live up to the expectations of a boutique spot. The products they use are top notch and are well trained. The staff are welcoming and very professional and at the same time friendly too. My Hair stylist Sarah did a wonderful job and most importantly she was listening and doing things right way the first time..!!!

Wonderful experience! I have been looking for a salon where I can tell the stylist, "I just want a trim and my layers touched up" and it doesnt result in getting inches upon inches taken off. Megan did a wonderful job. I was treated within minutes of my arrival. Very warm and inviting place. Also, the perfume they sell is amazing and whatever shampoo they used made my hair smell so amazing for days.
