I am doing my apprenticeship for my cosmetology license under the owner Liberty! She is the most kind hearted, driven person I have ever met. When I am shadowing her, everyone always says, "youre learning from the best" and it couldnt be more true! She has so much love for this community & is always thinking of ways to give back! She has built the most beautiful salon in Howell. Everything is about the details! The bird holds a special meaning which youll notice in the decor throughout your visit. When you walk in youre greeted with a smile & offered a beverage of your choice.. wine, Stella Artois beer, coffee, tea, or water. Youll be drawn to the colorful product wall, stocked with the exclusive hair care lines - Bumble and bumble, Morrocan Oil, and American crew for the fellas! The ambiance is earthy and relaxing while the beautiful, crystal chandeliers add a touch of elegance. Youll be wrapped with a hot towel before youre caped and after your luxurious scalp massage. At the beginning of your appointment, your stylist will take the time to consult with you to figure out exactly what youre looking for. Liberty has handpicked a great group of girls who truly love their job and are passionate about making you feel and look your best! Before you leave, youll catch one last look at yourself (because you look great) in the track lit mirror at the front of the salon.. and you might find yourself checking out the awesome makeup line carried there, TheBalm cosmestics. The matte Hughes liquid lip stains, Mary-Lou-manizer, and eyeshadow pallets are a few of my favorites! The Parlor is a great new add to this community and I am so thankful to be apart of it. Check it out, you wont regret it!

I started going there as soon as they opened. I love the atmosphere. It is very clean! Everyone is dressed very nicely in all black. This looks very professional. The staff are both friendly and knowledgeable about their products. They take the time to help find what is best for you. I like that if you are interested in a product they will use it on you during your visit and you can decide if it is something you like BEFORE you make the investment. I think that speaks volumes of the lines they carry. I went this morning and had another wonderful experience and I love my color and I am extremely impressed with my cut and style. It has taken me years to find a salon where the results were consistent and I always left thrilled. I would and have recommended this salon to everyone. I nearly forgot my favorite thing, they use heated towels on you. You definitely feel pampered when you leave.

The Parlor salon encompasses class, and provides a truly relaxing experience at every appointment. The owner Liberty, has been my friend and stylist for 8+ years. She is such a beautiful person and has an endless amount of talent. I always receive compliments on her beautiful work. The staff is always attentive, professional and all of the stylists produce amazing results! The Parlor is without a doubt raising the standards for all salons in Livingston county. Finally, a beautiful new salon in Howell. Beautiful and stylish décor! This place is a class act. The first time I went I had Emily do a cut and color, it turned out wonderful! The atmosphere is wonderful and everyone is very friendly. You can tell they all love what they do. The owner Libby took the time to come and check on me while I was waiting for my color to develop and even afterward I had my cut. The treatment from all the staff is wonderful! If you haven’t been yet…I suggest you check it out!

Libby is the sweetest most knowledgeable young lady I have had the pleasure of knowing. She has been doing my hair for 14 years. She has always been professional and considered me part of her Family. Love this girl and love her salon. There is a group of us that have been having our hair , makeup done by this beautiful young lady and not one unkind word has ever been said about her. If youre looking for a fun laid-back clean relaxing salon youll have to try out the parlor hair salon. The salon is very relaxing and welcoming. The staff are excellent and are always trying to do New styles new techniques . I have had my hair cut by the owner for the past 2 years never had a bad cut. I also have had other staff members cut my hair, when I could not get in with the owner. I will not go any where else.

Absolutely love this salon! I have SUPER THICK hair and it is long so it never gets cut or colored right. But The Parlor totally delivered! My stylist spent time on getting the cut and color perfect and I am obsessed with my hair now! Great atmosphere, friendly staff and complimentary wine! I have officially found my forever salon!
