I have been going to this salon for yeeears and I have NEVER had a bad experience with my hair. Ruth is the only person that I trust trimming or "cutting" my hair. Out of convience, Ive tried other salons (I moved from the McDonough area) and had to come back to Ruth to repair my heat damaged hair (too many times to count). My most recent experience was about a month ago I was taking out some crochet braids and accidentally cut an entire braid out of my hair. I was disgusted and wanted to get it all chopped off. I went to Ruth and AS USUAL, she saved the day and my hair. She cut it down nice and even without causing me to lose too much length. She styled it where you cant even tell that a entire section is missing and she kept me from doing something in a state of frantic. Please, PLEASE, PLEASE do not do here if you have natural hair. Before going in to this salon, i had thick curly waist length hair. First of all, the beauticians are very rude. They talk about peoples hair in Spanish. They say "Mal Pelo" meaning bad hair. They are also VERY rough with natural hair. The heat protectant is crap, and the blow dryer is very cheap. They also cut off 3 Inches of my hair when i asked for a trim. My hair is now bra strap length, with heat damage. I am very disappointed in this hair salon. I am from new york and i was expecting to be treated well. Ladies, find a hair salon that will take care of your hair. Three years of hair care gone down the drain. I will NEVER step foot in this salon EVER again. I hated my experience, and the treatment that i received. Please do your research, and go at your own risk.

After moving from NY is was hard to find someone who could manage my daughters hair. Stopping in on a whim, we were pleasantly surprised to find the owner who happened to work in the salon we frequented in NY! My daughters hair is growing again and looks beautiful! I love the fact that I personally can get an up-do that stays! My hair is super fine and Ruthie can work with ANY hair type. She is amazing, the customer service is excellent and the prices are very reasonable. We are faithful customers.

It has been a while but i had long hair when i went there...im certain this is the place because now i am traumatized because she was supposed to trim my hair but i left with my hair the length of neck...i tell people about my experience because it still hurts but this was about 2 years ago...idk how their business is now...

This is a quality yet affordable hair salon. The shop is unique and the owner is very nice and welcoming. A must! You will enjoy it!
