I am a single mother that needs two estimates for her caseworker to fix her car, so I dont lose my job. I call Lentz on Riverview in Kalamazoo Michigan and I asked for a estimate from them . I was told to either bring in car or get another licensed mechanic to come to my home and give me one because one of my repairs are my brakes and I cant drive the car. So I did and faxed the other mechanic estimate for lentz to see and fax me an estimate back. I was told that they would do this even though they werent going to be the cheapest. The next morning I called them back to see if they faxed the estimate and I got a nasty attitude for my troubles. I was told that he wouldnt help me because he dont have the time to. This was said in a mean and nasty way. Then to my surprise he hung up in my face. I called back to ask to speak with his supervisor and he says I am the supervisor, so I asked if he had some one over him and he said no this is my shop. All I needed was an estimate to get my car fixed so I wont lose my job and this how people get treated!!!!

I was told that if I came in at a specific time my car would be "in and out". I came in at that time and ended up waiting 5 and 1/2 hours to be told they didnt have the parts for the fixes needed (they looked at my car a grand total of 10 minutes through the whole time- I was watching). The mechanics usually could not be seen doing any work on the line of cars whatsoever, aside from the occasional tap with a hammer after a long time. They seemed to take more cigarette breaks than actually doing work. I saw an angry mans $350 bill magically go down to $225 in front of my eyes. These people are gouging the majority of their customers-- which is funny because "Mr. Lentz" aged 75 with perfect dentures and bright white shorts came in driving his mercedes benz at the same time I was waiting. Great way to prove the value of your service to your customers, dude.

I brought my car in for brakes and was met at the counter by Trevor. They were busy but still got my car in for a free inspection in a timely manner. After the inspection Trevor showed me what needed to be fixed on my car and gave me options on what really had to be done now and what could wait. I approved the work and the job was done in no time and I was on my way. I would tell anyone that Lentz usa is a great place to do business.

This is a great repair shop. They are honest, reasonable, and considerate. I was charged only $10.00 to remove a rusty part on the bottom of my truck, and told that it was not necessary to replace it to the tune of $650.00. I was treated fairly the first time I went there, also. Highly recommend , will go back!

prices are good and service is good too. They keep their places clean and have a good selection of current magazines. The owner buys Jets pizza for the employees and I was offered some too! Fantastic!
