I did even get the chance to find out if they are qualified computer specialist or not! After calling the store, I brought two (2) computers, a lap top and a desk top into the store. Standing in front of a young man who was working at a computer station at the front counter for 10 to 15 seconds, I finally said "good Morning" to him. I wasnt asked to put my desk top down or welcomed in any way, just a "Hi". When he was through with his task, another awkward 15 seconds, he finally looked up and said "whatchya got?" I told him that I had call, and explained that the lap top was running slow and the CPU fan/heat sink was failing and causing the Desk Top computer to shut down unexpectedly, could they "scrub" the lap top and replace the fan on the Dell/Desk. After telling me how long it would take, and how I would most likely lose data on the lap top, (I decided not to leave that box) as for the desk top he left the front area and got a technician who came out and immediately told me that "Wow they dont even make that computer anymore! I cant get parts for that make any more. Your best option would be to search for used parts online" At this point , I said "Thanks" and left the store. Id like to thank that man for telling me what I already knew, and forcing me to take the issue into my own hands, fixing these boxes for myself. I returned home, and immediately upon logging on to Ebay and punching in the part number in their search line, I was happy to find the plug in fan part for $7.95 no shipping charge, and while there online I bought a zip drive type scrubber for $19.99 again no shipping, and happily downloaded it and and was done with my problems. I would have easily dropped a HAPPY $100. bill on them to fix of these units, but after being somewhat berated for not having the cutting edge Desk top, and not willing to lose data on my Lap Top, I took the time to do it myself and saved on the low side $75.00 Thanks again for the wonderful service and advise! TERRIBLE SERVICE, TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE...Iv had a horrible experience dealing with this company. First I was told 2-3 days for my laptop screen to be replaced. On the 3rd day, no call to say its not done. On the 4th day, no call as well. On the 5th day they called and said its ready, no apolgies for being late at all. I picked up my unit and took it back to work.When I get there I cant open it at all, the latch wont budge. Had 4 of my co-workers try it and no luck. So I call back and they tell me to bring it back in. I bring it in on my lunch and the counter person says "Yep its stuck", and tells me the person that worked on it wont be back for an hour and a half and I would have to leave it. Again no Im sorry for the problem or anything just will call you when its ready. Gas is 4 bucks a freeking gallon and I gotta go back and fourth 4 times to fix a laptop that probhably took all of 15 minutes to work on, and the guy didnt even check his work or he would have cought the problem with the latch in the first place. I will never use them again and will tell every person I know to STAY AWAY!

They had the worst service I have ever experienced it took 14 days to get my computer back after paying $49 for there same day service on top of a $69 diagnostic fee and then they reformatted my drive and re installed windows when the whole reason I brought it in to them was to repair windows like they promised they could, when they did this they damaged my hard drive causing me to have to get a new one, if they couldnt fix it they should have told me so I could take it somewhere else. I would recommend to anyone NEVER to go here for computer repairs. I do have to say they did build a computer for me in the past and I do have to say they did a good job on building it, the lady in the front is also very helpful for answering simple computer questions.

I brought my computer here to be repaired after another repair shop failed to fix my problem in a professional and timely manner. Computer Works was able to repair my computer even though there were several problems caused by the other repair company. Not only did they fix my computer in less than 4 days (the other place took 2 1/2 weeks and still didnt have my computer fixed), they put new virus protection on my computer and returned it in a very neat and clean state.The girl at the front desk took time to explain everything to me and she was very helpful. I dont know why I didnt take it to Computer Works in the first place!

We were in a bind we tried to load a program necessary for running a machine. We loaded the program it didnt work . The software tech support is almost non-existent . We dropped off the laptop I mentioned to my business partner "dont expect too much". We needed immediate service waiting was no option. Eight hours later it was finished it was a miracle. I said how many hundreds of dollars was it....less than $135.00 I was shocked. Having been in the IT business some years ago there was a saying do you want it fast ? Inexpensive ? Or good ? You can only select 2. Today I found a company who got all 3 .

Recently got a gaming rig with computer works today. They are very knowledgeable and helpful to questions I have had. I have gotten my laptop from them in the past as well. Great atmosphere and very helpful with all my needs. If you have an issue with your computer they are the people to go to. I would 100% recommend them for custom build computers, repairs or if you just want some opinions on computer knowledge. Very Professional business with a friendly and extremely helpful staff. I went to computer works to get a quote on a new Windows system. My older iMac was running so poorly that I was considering a switch back to windows. After talking to Dave he told me that all I needed was a new hard drive because the old one was failing. I had the iMac back in 24 hours and it runs better than ever. I saved $900 because I didnt have to buy a new computer system. Great service. I will come here for all my new computer and computer service needs.

I have bought laptops, desktop workstations as well as many accessories, components and cables. I have used Computer Works for upgrades, repairs, virus removal & data recovery and they have never let me down. Price is right too. Great job, keep it up!

Less than 24 hours from drop-off to pickup for a laptop screen replacement. Price was a little steep but worth the quick turn-around. Most importantly the staff never tried to up-sell me on anything! Nowadays you cant pay for a bottle of pop w/o the cashier asking if youd like to purchase a product protection plan or sign up for theyr rewards program. I never had to utter "No Thanks" even once. -cheers, Alan.
