Was at Salon 101 today, got pink and white arcrylics done and also had my hair cut. Deanne, the lady who took care of me today was nice but seemed a little pre-occupied with something else. I asked her to shorten a couple of my nails and she gave me a look like I was asking to much from her. After my nails were done I had her cut my hair, she did a wonderful job on my hair, I love it. But when I got home and looked closer at my nails, I noticed all the defects in her work: thick white tips, smudged smile lines, arcylic didnt go all the way back on a couple nails, bubbles and lines in every single nail. NOT a happy customer. Called and spoke with the owner and she said she would take care of it, Deanne called me a few minutes later and asked if I had a problem with my nails, I said yes and explained my concerns to her. She proceeded to tell me that I obviously have never had them done with forms before because when nails are done with forms they are thick, no they are not (when we had this discussion in front of the owner, she denied saying this). After we discussed my concerns, and she made me feel like she was calling me a liar about my nails being so crappily done, I went back up to the salon and got 30 dollars of the 85 I gaver her back. The owner gave me a 30 dollar gift certificate, which I really appreciate, it does help ease the pain a little, but in reality, the 55 dollars that Deanne got from me is way too much for her quality of work, customer service and attitude. I do not recommend that anyone go to her for any services, and if you do inspect every inch of her work before you leave.

Typically not the type to post reviews on a business, but today was not the most impressive experience. Have gone to salon 101 three times and wont be going back. Today I got a Malibu treatment and French manicure. Hair was fine, just needed to get hard metals out. Nails on the other hand look poor. Every single nail with the exception of two, have a significant gap where there is no filling. They look like they are three weeks old and need to be refilled. In addition to this, the lady, Deanne I believe, maybe said five words to me in the 2+ hours I was there. At one point during the nails (and I dont even know if something needed to dry. As she said nothing) she got on her phone for probably...what seemed like five minutes while I was just sitting there. Very distracted by something or simply doesnt care about her job and making customers feel comfortable and pleased. No attempt to make conversation whatsoever. Poor experience overall. I left leaving her a tip which I didnt feel was necessary, and didnt even get s thank you or anything.

First & last time getting my hair cut at Salon 101. I had Tina, showed her several pictures of the cut I usually get & informed her that my hair is damaged from bleaching & to please be gentle with it. She used a brush instead of a wide tooth comb & violently ripped through my hair. She faced me away from the mirror the entire time she cut it so I couldnt see what she was doing. She barely dried it & then charged $30. Thats $30 for just the cut. No wash, no style. The haircut was so terrible I cried in the parking lot & then went to The Ritz. I walked in & the owner saw my hair, said she wanted to fix it & then did so free of charge. My hair looks amazing now thanks to The Ritz & I will not be returning to Salon 101.

I absolutely love Salon 101. Deanne is my hairdresser and nail tech. She does excellant work. If i bring in a nail design she is excellant at recreating the design for me. My children also go to her and my 12 year old daughter loves her. She always takes extra time with her and will do "little" extras for Jenna. She is very accomadating with our schedule. She is very knowledgeable on the product that she uses and is current on styles. The Salon atmosphere is very relaxing and they offer a wide range of services.

First of all I got a gift certificate to go and try for nails, well I called to get my nails done and I guess only one lady can do nails on certain days and I could never seem to get an appointment with her cause her schedule and my days were never good . But I decided to just use my gift certificate before it expired so I got an appointment for a pedicure and it was not the price they told me over the phone and the pedicure was horrible my nail polish was not smooth and was chipping the same day. Wont go back

When it came time for my daughters first hair cut, we chose Tina at Salon 101. My daughter was so afraid at first about someone coming at her with scissors. When she left she was begging to go back and totally loved the experience, and her hair was perfect. Now both my daughter and wife use Tina at Salon 101. We have always been fully satisfied without any issues. We will continue to use Salon 101 and recommend them to all of our personal and business contacts. Thanks Tina.

Ive been using Tina at Salon 101 for 1-1/2 years now. At first I was reluctant to try a new stylist but Im glad I did. Tina and the staff at Salon 101 were very friendly and knowledgeable. In fact, Tina was so good that my husband even commented it was the best haircut he had seen in quite a while. Good job Tina. I will definitely refer you to my friends and family.

While I was under the dryers, I heard my stylist and another stylist bad-mouthing the other women who were getting their hair done at the time. They made comments about their clothing, their love lives, and their complexions to name a few areas. It just makes me wonder what they said about me when I left. First and last time visit.

I was looking to do something different with my hair without an extreme change in looks. I went to Tina and explained to her what I was looking for. She put highlights in my hair along with a trim and I loved the results. I would highly recommend Tina for anyone looking for a subtle change. Youll be the envy of your friends!

Went in for highlights, which turned out beautifully just in time for summer, and I was also able to check out some local vendors for a Mothers Day special event.
