Since my signup I have had a great experience with Simply Self Storage. All my questions were accurately answered and processing was expeditious and efficient. Very friendly staff! I especially appreciated the free month - THANKS!!!!! I have presently terminated my stay with Simply Self Storage as weve moved into our house. Should I ever need to use a storage facility, this would be the one. I had to come in and out often as we were between living with family and our new house. I was always greeted with courtesy, friendly hospitality, and asked if there is anything we can do for you - dont hesitate to call. I called a few times with questions and was given the same courteous, friendly, hospitable treatment, with all my questions answered as well. Thank you so much for your service.

Facility is well taken care of. It is clean and well maintained and the manager does an excellent job of keeping it that way. Doors seal very well and no critters can get into the storage unit. Overall, for short term rentals, I would highly recommend this facility. However, for long term rentals, such as mine, be advised, that the rental rate can increase every year or even sooner. My rates have increased steadily over the last 6 years I have been there, from 139 to 187 per month, where now I pay substantially more than a new customer for an equivalent unit. For this reason, unfortunately, I am most likely going to have to move to a new facility.

Writing this review simply to acknowledge the manager, Steven, who goes above and beyond to ensure great customer service. I work from home and use my unit to store various promotional items for my company and often have boxes shipped right to the unit. Steven is always super friendly and ensures this is a seamless process even when my shipping carriers try to make things difficult. I would recommend this facility to anyone looking for a storage unit in the area. Keep up the GREAT work!

Stephen Clark has helped me several times during my time at Simply Self Storage and he is always perfectly pleasant. Im a single female with lots of questions and he is always more than patient. If youre looking for affordable storage, this is the place to go. I had to upgrade to a larger space and Stephen showed me several different options and helped me pick the most affordable option. Simply Self Storage serves its purpose and its people. Great customer service.

I had my belonging here for a little over six months. They called me a month before I purchased my home to tell me they needed my keys to repair my unit, as they were reparing several units. When I went to get my things and took them to my new home several of my boxes were stolen. No one was avalible to assist me. I would not but my dogs belongings here!!!! They still from the end side of the company.

Stephen has been the manager since I obtained my unit in June 2016. He is always pleasant and its to have someone onsite to talk a bit of hockey. Ive seen a few problem areas addressed such as the driveway from the road. Overall, the facility is always clean, and seems to be run very well. Thank you Stephen!

Off and on thru the years, if I need a storage facility, Livonias Simply Self Storage is the place for me. Clean, dependable, convenient and Stephen is always helpful if I need anything in the office. The only complaint I would have is not having multi month payment discounts.

The office staff was friendly and helpful but they will raise your rent every year for no reason. Plus the place is a little old and run down. I found a nicer place for less money and they put in their contract "rent will not be raised". I cannot recommend this facility.

I have the smallest unit they offer. In 4 years theyve increased the price of rent by $20. The price is too high for an outdoor unit. I do not receive notices when my rent increases. I emailed the office inquiring about the increasing rent and they never responded.

Beware they will keep raising the rate. We got a 15x10 for $118 (July 2016) they upped it $25 in one year, thats terrible for the long time customers, when in reality they should be lowering it for us. Go somewhere else, its not worth the finances.

The Manager here is great, friendly and very customer oriented. Facilities are okay but it looks like they are doing some upgrading now. Only negative I would say is Ive had two price increases in six months!
