I work for one of the factories in Manchester, and have had nothing but horrible service from our delivery person and her supervisor. The neighboring factory has their mail delivered inside, and so did we, until she decided she didnt want to bring our mail in anymore.(The neighboring facility still had theirs delivered inside.) They mandated that we put a mailbox by the road, which we did, despite the high expectancy that it would be knocked down by semi-trucks and/or a plow truck in the winter. Last week it was knocked down. We are not sure how, but we believe it was by a semi during a delivery. I called to request that our mail be brought into the facility after I had not received it for a week, until we could get our mailbox fixed. (I, obviously, cannot put a mailbox in.) They told me that I will have to pick the mail up from them and they will not be delivering it to us until the box is fixed. This means that I will have to leave the facility to pick up their mail. Not to mention the numerous times the delivery person has been rude to me for having to grab the mail off of my desk hand it to her, because it wasnt piled near our visitor sign in book.(That looks tacky and unprofessional.) It takes maybe 3 second for me to turn around garb the mail and hand it to her. "I have to go! Its not me, if the post master follows me and sees it takes this long to run in and get the mail, then I will be in trouble." Somehow, I dont believe that any company, government operated or not, would mandate disrespectful customer service to shave a few seconds off of their delivery time. Now, there is another girl who helps out with deliveries once in a while, and during the week that our box has been down, she brought the mail into the facility. She is always friendly and smiles and is NEVER rude. Which leads me to believe, that the postmaster rushing them, true or not, does not permit them to be rude and disrespectful.
