So help me I will never send another package through this Post Office if I can help it!! I moved to Ypsilanti in March and have been receiving upwards of 8 other peoples mail to my address as well as mine, my fiancée and our roommates mail. I have called every month at least once trying multiple different avenues to get his resolved. After filing complaints, contacting supervisors and speaking to the supervisor at the Post Office itself I have still not had the problem resolved. The woman Jackie even had an attitude with me. And since Ive been dealing with this for almost 6 months I feel as though Im the one who should have attitude. I am now having the issue of the delivery driver simply not delivering packages. On Saturday (Sept. 2, 2017) I had a package that was supposed to be dropped off and I didnt receive it because they said they couldnt gain access to my mailbox. I live in an apartment so the mailboxes are perfectly accessible to anyone who may need access. Not to mention that I then the very next day received a package from them. I also ordered a book once for my fiancée and the mail carrier rolled it up and put in the mailbox and I was told by a USPS representative that they wouldnt do anything about the damage since the item wasnt insured. I cannot say enough about my disgust with this post office and if I can avoid it I will never have any packages delivered through them ever again.

According to my tracking number, my package was "delivered" Saturday, August 19th 2017 at 7:16 PM. After calling multiple times from Thursday, August 24-today (Tuesday, August 29), my package somehow magically appeared in my mailbox. My fiancé did not receive his mail from SOS. When we changed our address to our parents house, the replacement mail arrived just fine. Jackie is a difficult person to deal with. She stated that someone must be stealing my mail. FedEx and UPS delivers my packages just fine. They are even left outside of my apartment building. Im not the only one with this problem and would happily provide information if they choose to call me and ask about it. But Jackie doesnt listen despite that I tried telling her again tonight, August 29th. Previously she said "if it says it was delivered then it was delivered" and someone must be stealing it. I told her I had this problem in the past exactly a year ago. She doesnt care. She didnt even document our first phone conversation. I just wanted to know how I can rely on the USPS in Ypsilanti Township to be able to deliver my mail successfully in the future. That was not answered. But hey, surprise, my mail wasnt stolen. It was probably back at your facility again just like last time. The other person I talked to today was pleasant and great. Wished I had that same experience with Jackie.

My wife and I went to this location to renew our passports, bad idea. Upon getting to the counter, we were pushed between three different postal workers, only one of whom seemed authorized to help with passport processing. None of the workers were patient or helpful, they seemed like they just wanted to get us out of there. They rushed us to sign documents, pay fees, and didnt answer our questions. I actually dont know if I signed everything necessary for my passport, have no clue when to expect them returned, and am concerned it will be rejected due to negligence or insufficient information. My wife almost had a panic attack with how rude the attendants were; they seemed to expect us to know what to sign, how much to pay, and in general did not want to be there or help us. What is happening at this post office is not acceptable and unsafe for homeland security. I could easily have given a false identity and submitted a passport. They did not check or confirm any information I provided, and I signed the passport form without taking any oath (which is a legal requirement). Do not give them your business for such a sensitive and important service.

Worst service Ive ever had from a carrier. Paid for expedited shipping and the items were supposed to arrive a week ago. My package had an attempted delivery along with my roommates package. They made only one attempt and left a notice saying it could be picked up at the post office. My roommate went to get them and got her items just fine but mine somehow ended up missing. Apparently the person at the front desk insisted that I must have had some one else come get it which I did not. Due to our work schedules this was the first chance we had to get them over the holidays. I tried calling and they said they would speak to the delivery driver that day and get back to me. I havent received any call about it and my attempts to call them either go unanswered or a disconnected line. Ive heard they only have one person working the front desk with lines of people at the door. Ridiculous. I had to settle with a refund from Amazon. This entire transaction has been an inconvenience.

Throwing Packages - we just moved to this area and I work from home. We have had a lot of deliveries come through but the last couple of times that USPS has delivered to our apartment, the carrier will throw the boxes at our door. I would be in the office on the opposite side of the front door and would hear a loud bang. When I check it out, the boxes are all over the place. Luckily there was no damage the first time I heard it happen. However, today I heard a loud noise at my front door and sure enough there were packages for my husband. They werent strewn about this time but it sounded like someone just dropped them on the ground. I was willing to let it go the first time since I can only imagine how difficult and demanding that job could be (no shade) but this is starting to get ridiculous and its disrespectful.

My service at the post office has been fine. Usually I am only picking up packages. This is a frequent thing for me, they are always nice when I go in. But my carrier, holy hell. They leave no notice of trying to deliver, so time sensitive packages do not get to me when they are meant to. They throw my mail into my mailbox with no consideration. I have had multiple torn letters. They put other peoples mail in my box even though our name is clear printed in the box. Our buzzer to our apartment does not work, this goes for the whole building. So I am dependent on the carrier leaving a delivery notice. They never do, when they have they shove it so badly into my box it rips and tears everywhere. Its not like our box is small, it is an average size. They have no care for what they are doing.

The agents at the front desk are courteous and helpful but their supervisors and carriers are incompetent and lazy. We are not getting our mail delivered because of a speed bump being installed in front of our mail box. All the carrier has to do is step out of the truck and walk 3 feet. I tried calling about the problem but nobody answered and went to a full voicemail box. The agent at the front desk gave me the same excuse that my mailbox was blocked from the road so I would have to come in later to pick up my mail. We also have had issues of outgoing mail not being picked up, mail just stuffed and ripped into our mailbox. Something needs to be done about this branch. I have lived elsewhere in washtenaw county and never experienced this level of incompetence and laziness.
