We recently had our furnace ducts, dryer vent, etc cleaned by Stanley Steamer, Muskegon. The two workers were very polite and careful of our furniture. The ducts looked extremely clean after they completed the work. However, once they left, my wife and I realized that the whole house was FILLED with dust/debris, including all of the storage areas. The Muskegon Manager came over and basically said that he found some gaps in the duct work (which was probably most of the problem) and having the windows open (by the two Stanley Steamer operators) during the cleaning may have contributed. The manager offered to have two guys come over for a couple of hours but I declined. My wife and I had already spent many hours just cleaning the main level and it would take the better part of 2-3 days to do the rest. A few suggestions; (1) inspect the duct work prior to performing the work to see if it is up to the task; (2) make all recommendations up front, not during the service; (3) clean up better after the work is performed.

Let me start out by saying, in the past Ive used Stanley Steemer and been completely satisfied. The latest experience wasnt good at all. The crew sent out to my location were very courteous and prompt. I had 3 rooms and a stairway cleaned and it only took the 45 minutes. That said, I was skeptical to say the least at the job that was done. When they left the carpet looked pretty good, then when it started to dry all of the traffic marks and slight stains reappeared. Im very disappointed in the quality of work that was performed. I wouldnt recommend their service to anyone.

My wife called to get a quote and the man on the phone was sarctic to her. She can handle a lot, he was so rude that she hung up. So we called modernistic whom which was very respectful in how they explained the prices to my wife! They even say they will come back and do the floors if you are not satisfied! Anyone have kids like we do? Thatso pretty good gaurntee for 100.00 I think!

Price is the same as others in the area and they stepped up gto the challenge. Stanley Steemer gave me a quote in the morning and they were able to complete the job the next day! In and out in 1-1/2 hours. Very professional team and their equipment and techniques are unmatched.

I will never use them again. The workers were nice and pleasant but the money I paid was not worth it carpet looked exactly the same once they were done only wet.
