We took our brand new Honda Accord in for a car wash on 5/29/16. Unbeknownst to us at the time of the wash jax scratched our car on the back and on top. As soon as we realized it was scratched at 5:45pm that day we brought it back to jax. That was when the run around and accusations started: the manager, Dustin, claimed it would take 45-60 min to determine if they had done the scratches and he promised a manager would call us on Tuesday, May 31st after the holiday weekend. At 12:00 on May 31st we had not received a phone call so we called and Steve the manager claimed to not have any knowledge of this incident. Steve requested we bring our car back in so he could see it. We waited almost an hour and Steve claimed jax had not done anything wrong. We are not the type of people to accuse anyone falsely of anything and just wanted jax to fix the damage they caused. We know they scratched the car and through their lying and run around behavior they have lost two customers. We fully intend to tell everyone we know and warn them about Jax car wash. Sorry jax sometimes being honest and doing the right thing does matter!!! If you want to make this right or have this review taken down you know our phone number. To everyone - be warned never take your new car to jax!!!! Response to Jax: 1. We have pictures of the scratches which can be provided upon request. Honestly, it is really not even about Jax paying to repair the damage because it is really not even that expensive (we have checked into it). It is more about doing the right thing. 2. We have another car that we have taken to Jax for more than 7 years and never had a problem, in fact Jax has done an amazing job and at times gone above and beyond with their detailing work. 3. On 5/31/16, I had a phone conversation with the manager where he admitted to not being able to see the scratches on video due to the lighting and the way the sun hit the car so he was insistent that we bring our car in so he could see it. We complied and despite having worked a full day and being exhausted we brought the car in at which time we were told that it must not have occurred at Jax due to the way the scratches were on the car. The scratches could have been made by a human using a brush and not the equipment used in the car wash. I have a very open mind and am open to the possibility the scratches occurred elsewhere however given the fact that this car is brand new and prior to going to Jax there were no visible scratches on the car it is hard to be open to another possibility. 4. I sent a message to Jax and have not heard back. I stand by my personal experience with this location and my review at this time. I am open to altering my review or updating it if Jax makes even one attempt to apologize or follows up today with us. I think its very easy to post online and make it appear that we are the difficult ones when the reality is quite the opposite. I am sure that you do not stay in business by scratching cars but accidents happen and it is important to do the right thing when they do. Thank you! Still have yet to hear from Jax... I wont hold my breath that they will actually call me back!

Mediocre at best! Paid $170 to have my entire car detailed, washed, waxed, the works! They did a pretty good job cleaning the inside of my car... but I could have probably done most myself (which I usually do). The wax on my car looked half ass...excuse my language. They left pieces of company under on my car, and I noticed more scratches in my car after seeing it buffed. There is now a scratch by my Keyless entry pad, that I know was not there before hand. They also took 3-3 1/2hours on my car, when they said 1 1/2-2. I assumed 2, because it takes a while to do all of that work. I would have been fine with an extra half hour even, but their customer service was poor, and I feel like I paid an arm and a leg for nothing. Im am currently trying to sell my car, so I wanted it detailed and to be touched up so I could have potential buyers look at it. I wish I would have just washed it myself. Update: 4/12/16 Ive been taking my car to their car wash just for the wash and vacuum now. I will never take it back for a detail or wax, because they did such a terrible job the last time. Well, i just had my car washed and supposedly vacuumed today. Excuse my language, but they half assed the vaccuming. My floor mats were thrown back in my car.. one was even upside down and they were all in the wrong spots. Underneath my drivers side floor mat was not vacuumed at all. Not worth the money. I may go back just for the exterior washes, but probably if it is only convenient. Their work is so lazy and unfinished. Im tired of spending a decent amount of money for work i can do myself. Im 7months pregnant, went home and vacuumed and cleaned the interior of my car myself.

A big NO to Jax Kar Wash. I have to return my leased car so I purchased the car detailing for interior detailing of my car before returning it to the dealer. So I took the car to the rochester hills location where i paid for interior detailing. So i went to the location and gave the car for detailing. After 2 hrs the lady on the reception counter said the car is done. When I checked, only the carpet was cleaned. I asked if the seats are still to be cleaned or not, the person mentioned its shampooed and cleaned. But it looked like they just vacuumed the seats. There was a small spot on the front passenger seat which was still there. I said to the person and he said its already done, but he would clean it again for me. He just cleaned that particular spot after it. Then I looked at the exterior and the car had spots and the mud stuck on the mud guard was still not cleaned. I asked if the car was actually washed and he kept on saying yes its washed. Then I called the manager who asked the person to take the car for exterior wash again. He then took the car for wash and cleaned it. The car now looked like it actually got washed from outside and the mud and everything got removed. The whole service was ridiculous. Wasted my money and time. I would have rather purchased a groupon for same price and got full car exterior and interior detailing done from a much much better place. Worst car wash center. I have had a lot better interior vacuuming, not detailing, which cleaned the car from inside like it has been detailed. Never going back to this car wash and would never recommend it to anyone.

I wish i could leave 0 stars. DO NOT COME HERE. I paid money to get my car scratched. While driving home after my first ever full service wash at Jax i noticed that the windshield had some soap residue on it. After cleaning it myself and taking a better look at it, i noticed that my window tint was scratched pretty badly. After a couple of phone calls, i was able to meet the Rochester location manager Brent. All i was told is that Jax is not responsible for any damages done to any aftermarket equipment and that they did not do it. I was however offered some wash and detailing passes to make up for the damage but i refused to take them because i want them to pay for the tint instead and there is now way i am taking my car there ever again. A few days later i was invited to look at the camera footage which showed nothing but people drying the outside of my car. I was once again told by Brent that they did not scratch the tint and the camera footage proves it which it obviously doesnt since you cant see anything. The following day i got a call from the Jax manager, Shawn. It seemed like he was interested in resolving this with me but in the end, i was once again told that they did not do it and they will not pay for the replacement of the tint. I am now out 250 dollars. Please save yourself time, money and nerves and take your car somewhere else.
