I got very frustrated at first bc I reserved online a unit with the belief that fit my first month it would be about $25 (50%off) but when I got in to do the paperwork I was informed of a one time $15 administration fee, that I wound be required to buy a $19 lock abd to purchase monthly insurance and my total became $70+ dollars. I expressed to the attendant Nichole that I was frustrated at the obvious misusing of that sale price listed online. I expressed that our was ridiculous to not tell people ahead of time clearly what they are going to need to pay and that it was misleading abd dishonest. Nichole was very understanding abd I appreciated that she didnt give me some half assed answer to subdue me. Instead she images me in honestly taking about the situation. She was delightful and very kind. She understood how I felt and didnt try to explain away the issue, she just apologized abd said she wished it was clearer to, because she doesnt want people mislead, but also want afraid to defend that I and other customers need to be more informed by reading the fine print. I really appreciated her candid demeanor. In the end I an giving a 5 star review because Nichole made the whole endeavour more pleasant. She showed me the space which was clean and safe, she showed me where I could get a rolling car abd then when I came a few hours later to move in my stuff she had left a rolling car right in front of my unit so I wouldnt have to go liking for one. Top notch customer service!....but seriously public storage ... please more transparency in the fees!!

I have had the pleasure of working with Jen and recommend Jen in the highest regards. Jen possesses a wealth of knowledge, has impeccable work ethics and would be an asset to anyone interested in getting any type of storage and facility needs. Her professionalism, dedication and knowledge are endless and with Jen willing to go the extra mile, gives one a better piece of mind knowing your investment in her services is money well spent! Her storage and facility knowledge speak for themselves. With purchasing a Z06 Corvette out of the Chicago area, I knew with our limited space at home, locating a storage unit very quickly was a definite priority. My experience renting out a storage unit with a vehicle was very limited and with all the questions I provided for Jen, she was very patient in answering each and every one of them, as to why I utilized Jens services for storage. Jen is the most unprofessional rude employee I have ever encountered. She blamed the tenents for the company not maintaining the building. She acted like she was to good to help me. Jen did take the time to tell me that it wasnt her problem that there were no carts because its not in the contract (her words not mine). I didnt see her smile once, but she did roll her eyes at me quite a few times. The only elevator in the entire place only stays open for about 30 seconds and slams closed weather you are standing there or not. I would absolutely give zero stars if I could. I dont know who they paid to write the positive reviews but they are nowhere near true. I have talked to a few other tenents and they were all as unhappy with this place as I am. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME WITH THIS PLACE. Do not believe the good reviews. Save yourself the hassle and find a place to store your things that believes in customer service and building maintenance.

Very easy to set up a unit reservation online. When I came in to complete a reservation, Jen and Rick were very helpful and explained everything I would need to know for the year, since I will not be in the area. However, after everything was moved in and I was out of state, my monthly rate jumped (2 months after I signed all the agreements) with no warning. I was told my unit would be pro-rated upon move out, but this was not true either. I was billed June 3 and am moving my belongings out June 11 and was told that they dont pro-rate after the 6 of the month; so essentially you pay for the whole month after you move out - so schedule move out accordingly. The unit itself has been fine for what I needed for the year but I would not use this location again.

I have had experience with storage units before, but this location is a gem! Right price; good location, clean facility, I could go on and on but I am to tired to type that much. I must mention their staff though before I am through. Mark, Nicole, and Rick are some of the most courteous, helpful people I have encountered anywhere with individuals that deal with the public. I sure hope that they are compensated well; for at this location they are the backbone of a well run property. congratulations Public Storage of Roseville MI! I would like to give you 6 stars but 5 is all you allow. Thank you for a pleasant experience

Had a great experience with Jen and Rick. They were very helpful helping pick the right storage unit. We were moving family member belongings after moving family member into Assisted Living. Traveled from California to Michigan to get this done in one week and everything went smoothly. I feel very good about the security at this location on Gratiot Rd and highly recommend. The move went smoothly for both Family member and personal belongings. We will be moving there in about 6 months and will need some storage for our belongings and I will definitely use this same facility. Keep up the great team work Rick and Jen.

Clean, secure, well maintained with courteous and professional staff. Rick and Jen both helped us understand our options, select the best solution for us, and made the process as smooth as possible. We compared to several other storage areas in the area, and this was the cleanest and best maintained. We believe our items will be well protected. Our experience with this facility has been excellent so far. We hope it continues to go as well as it has to this point, and we are confident the staff here will do everything in their power to make it so.

I am writing to praise the excellent customer service that I received from Jen. She assisted my wife and me with moving from an existing unit in her facility to a smaller one at the same location. She was very friendly, informative and helpful to us. We had many changes in the day and time of our move, and Jen never stopped being patient, helpful and good-humored. This has been a long review, but my wife and I feel excellent customer service should not go unrecognized, especially as it becomes less common to experience it!

I actually dont rent from this storage facility, but my mother does. Whenever Im in town, I try to help her move things in and out. Ive come by often enough to know that the staff, especially Mark, who always seems to be there when Im in town, are amazing and helpful. They all do a fantastic job of customer service. Mark especially has been amazing, is always super polite, and goes out of his way to make sure my mom is getting the best service. The staff definitely make this storage facility a great one!
