The lady I spoke to today had no idea of her competitors in the area, could not recommend me to anywhere else. She asked me how she could help me and as I proceeded to explain to her my laundry needs she cut me off and asked me to hold since there was a customer in front of her. Now I know its always been taught great customer service to take care of the client in front of you first but she was no help at all. There was a laundrymat that was down the road from her behind Tim Hortons on Whittaker Rd. But she did not know them or their policies, which I had never asked about their policies. Very frustrating when I have an urgent need for help and she didnt even bother to ask anyone else who might know. I guess I shouldnt expect someone to do what I would do in this situation. Everyone is different I know. And Im not judging. I guess I was just a little frustrated thats all. Ive been told this is a great company, they do send out their clothes to be cleaned so its not something they do right there on the spot and its also not a laundromat that you can go to wash your own clothes at.

A business and any face representing that business should always be ready and willing to greet & welcome every customer warmly, because the customer is spending their money at your establishment. This is the 2nd time Ive went to this location on a Saturday & was not greeted & the entire encounter felt as if I was bothering the representative. Take note, your customer service skills precede you!

I want to respond to Kerry Billings because some of her comments are inaccurate. U & I is owned by my parents and there are two locations, one of which is a laundromat located near downtown Ypsi. That is where the drycleaning and laundry are done. The Whittaker location does send it out, but to our own 2nd location on Ecorse. We do our own drycleaning and laundry.
