I had a leaky oil pan. The gasket was basically gone. When I brought it in, they were very courteous. I dropped off my Avenger and went to work. They called about an hour later and described the issue mentioned above. The solution was to replace the gasket with a special caulking (as instructed by Dodge). I picked it up after work. I was charged a fair amount and was happy with the service. A few days later after my car was parked in a garage over Thanksgiving, I noticed it was still leaking but only a very minute amount. When I brought it back in the next day, they had discovered that the pan itself was damaged and a very small divot was creating a slow leak. They patched this up without need for a new oil pan (so far) . And for about 3 days now I have not noticed any additional leakage whatsoever. I was not charged for the patch job which I consider very honorable. The people here are the quintessential small town auto mechanics and are very kind. I will be a returning customer should i require future services.
