STAY AWAY!! Have been coming here for awhile for oil changes and minor work (I have a 2005 Camry, hasnt needed much), service was ok. Last fall they told me I needed a new rack and pinion and struts. They gave me a very high estimate so I shopped around, found a repair shop that did the same work for $600 less to I had the work done there, all was good. Brought it back to Paramount for an oil change last week (my light had just come on). Was told I need new struts and an expensive engine flush because I had gone 3,000 miles over the allotted oil change time. Sensing something fishy, I asked the mechanic why I needed new struts (huge expense), and I quote: "theyre all rusted out and are the original ones." hmmm. I told them to leave it alone, went back with my husband to the repair shop who put in my struts in, he showed us the struts were not rusted and had a recent date on them of 2014 ( not the originals as I was told by Paramount). This very trustworthy mechanic also said an engine flush was ridiculous and not needed. Went back with husband in tow to Paramount. Showed the manager my supposed "original and rusted out struts." I was then chastised for not telling them I had my struts had been replaced so they had it in their records and this wouldnt have happened..really? How lame is that? Needless to say, they basically admitted I was lied to/misled, tried to apologize, we left and will never be back. In addition,at the time of my oil change, Paramount had put on new wiper blades but never took off the plastic guard, which I didnt notice. Caught in the horrible Saturday night rainstorm, couldnt see a thing, or figure out why my new wiper blades were so bad. Drove home terrified...discovered the plastic piece had never been removed. Great service huh?

I thought I would voice a very frustrating experience I had today at Paramount when I went in for an oil change. My fiancé brings both his company truck and his regular car here for oil changes, as well as my personal car. We are newer to Woodbury and found Paramount to be close to our home. We were happy with Paramount because they would send us coupons for oil changes. I scheduled my oil change online for a 5,000 mile oil change. I wrote on the coupon additionally 5,000 mile oil change because I wanted to make sure that they did just that. Unfortunately, the employees at Paramount ignored my request for 5,000 mile and did a 6,0000oil change instead (10+ more dollars) and charged me for it. Additionally, they almost did not even use the coupon because when he first read off my total I had to ask if he applied the coupon and he said no. I find it extremely alarming that a person can write online what service they want to receive, tell the employee working and additionally write it down on the coupon and still be ripped off. Needless to say we will never come back to Paramount and would not recommend anyone else go there unless you want to be tricked into spending more than you need to on a SIMPLE oil change.

Brought my truck in for brakes. I had some brakes that i had bought previously. I can understand the no warrenty on parts not theirs. But they said it would cost extra in labor, like it is a differnt procedure to instal other premium brakes. then they would not do the brakes because i also needed new shakles. So i just brought it home and did it all myself for a fraction of the cost they would have charged. Plus they said the called me when the examined the car to see what was needed. I had my phone with me. They never called. When i went to pick up my car the service writter wanted to argue that he had called. Will never visit this place again. And would not recomend no matter how nice their waiting area is.

Even though I made an appointment I still had to wait over an hour for an oil change. The excuse was that they didnt have a filter on stock and had to order one. When I complained they rechecked and miraculously found one on the shelf at the same time the parts truck pulled up with the one they ordered. On top of that, they always let air out of my tires even though I tell them not to every time I go. The recommended pressure for my car is 36 psi and they will deflate them each and every time I go there even when specifically told not to. It seems the goal is to wear out your tires quicker to sell you more. Wish I hadnt bought the 5 oil change card.

I had such an amazing experience here. We have had a long and sad time with our two vehicles finding someone we trust. I would fix an expensive break only to have it break down again. I found paramount and was relieved to finally have mechanics I trusted to tell me the truth and give me a fair deal. David walked us through everything and made us feel comfortable with every penny we spent. We continue to go back there because its been the first place where we feel we are getting a fair deal! I encourage others to check it out!

LIARS!! My wife went in to get a wheel balance, they tried to sell her tires. Just went with the balance, paid $50 for the balance, got the car back, and not one weight had been moved. In fact, the care had 7 weights on one wheel all together, and they were all still there, exactly the way we dropped them off. So they took our money, and didnt do ANYTHING!!!!!! BEWARE!!! We went to another place, and they balanced them for us, and confirmed that nothing was done at the last place. BEWARE!! LIARS, AND THIEVES!!!!

This was a horrible experience. We had the car towed here to replace the water pump and serpentine belt. Not only did they over charge us by $2-300 (based on other local estimates) but they also mis-quoted us for $700 on a bill that finally totalled over $1000.00 The technitian was rude and defensive when we demanded an explaination for the mis-quote. He said he never told us that and said the original quote did not include shop fees and "other stuff". Consumer beware - take your business elsewhere!

The staff Paramount went above and beyond with regards to my auto repair. Came to these guys with a brake issue which could have potentially cost around 2k. They talked me through the quote and even explained it further as they showed me the problem on the lift. The mechanic took several precautions with regards to my repair which ended up saving me a SIGNIFICANT amount of money. Hands down the most heads-up automative repair experience Ive had. 5 stars.

I have found the staff here is professional and does not talk down to anyone. The prices for services is what I will pay for work, it is not the cheapest place but you get what you pay for. Generally I get my oil changed, have bought tires, repaired tires, and had my VW Jetta maintenance schedule completed there for over half what the Dealership offered. Also, they take AAA discounts which helps alot, and there are approved by AAA.
