I dont understand why this post office opens at 8:30 instead of 8 like the rest. It is a HUGE inconvenience. And everyone in C.G. will agree. They never open on time and once they decide to open, we have to wait another 10 minutes for them to bring up the cash drawer, count money, turn on the lights, and computer, change the calendar date, find their priority stickers and so on. It takes the computer forever to initialize to send something first class. This should ALL be done before they unlock that door. I have been coming to this post office since 1990 and it has never been any different.

Absolutely horrible. Louanne the "supervisor" is highly incompetent and unable to help with any concerns about my package being sent to the wrong address. She then left work before my problem was solved, and the only other individual working that day informed me it was his 2nd day on the job. He was also unable to assist me with my package. Will avoid using the cottage grove post office from here on out. I would rather drive the extra 10 minutes to the newport location or south st paul location where i have never experienced any problems.

Today a package was delivered to the front door while my daughter was gone. I cant manage the front door due to arthritis. The postman was halfway down the block when he saw me struggling to get the box to the side door and came back to help me. He put it inside for me. God bless him.

Called because I was missing SS cards that were mailed to the right address but never received. The man I spoke with was extremely rude, kept interrupting and talking over me and treated me as though I was inconveniencing him.

Very quick and friendly service nice helpful workers small place but does everything the big post offices do I enjoy going here because it gives you the olden days feel like when you were a kids very friendly and sweet staff

Twice now this post office has sent me notification that my package has been delivered. The bad thing is the packages were delivered to the WRONG address. Arg!

The women I talked to was very helpful and stuck with me until they tracked down my package! I really appreciated it!
