I had been bringing my 2009 VW Jetta here for two years. Oil changes, tire rotations, brakes, they could handle that light mechanic work, and rather cheaply, I had always been happy. Then, this summer my oil pressure indicator came on, and I noticed some sputtering in acceleration. I made a morning appointment and brought it in to them. My first concern was lack of communication. I had to reach out to them around noon, basically asking them what they were doing. "Did it really take all morning to diagnose it?" The guy said the mechanic just left and they would have to call me back when he returned. They called me back in an hour and said they wanted me to authorized another hour (of billable time) to continue diagnosing it. I said "Well if you havent solved the problem, keep looking. I need it fixed." I didnt hear back from them again the whole afternoon. In fact, I had to call them again at 5 on my way home from work and say, "Hey? Did you figure anything out? Is my car ready?" They said "We changed your oil (It didnt need changing, and I didnt authorize that), and we tested your oil pressure. You simply had a bad sensor. We replaced the sensor, and now the oil pressure indicator is off and we the pressure is good." I said, "You need to drive the car for 5-10 minutes before the sensor comes on." "Oh we did that. Its all good, its not coming on." I picked up the car, the bill was $425 for the sensor, oil change (not needed, not authorized) and the 2 hours of diagnostic work. I drove out of the place and by the time I made two turns, the light came back on. Very frustrating, that money was just dumped on absolutely nothing. They said if I bring it back in they can open the engine up more and see if there is a problem with the oil pump or a clogged oil intake hose. At that point, it seemed like going down a rabbit hole and they had lost my confidence. Overall, I would bring your car here for a cheap oil change or brakes, or tire rotation, but if you need something mechanical, you might save money taking it to a specific dealership who specializes in your car.

I went in there , hoping they lived up to their " Honesty " name and 100% guarantee customer satisfaction, both were an epic fail. I brought my car in with brakes scaping to an undefinable amount. I Was asked which ones were scraping? I replied that I did not know, hoping they could tell after looking at my car. I was told both breaks needed replacing 1000.00 point blank. I apologized and said that I only had credit for 1:2 of that amount. They said fine, we will do one set of breaks now, you choose which ones. I was desparate and they sensed it as they gave me no other options to get them both fixed , my only option was 1000.00 for both, or 550.00 for the one I could afford. I had to get at least one replaced to be safe enough for the oublic and most of all my children. I drove out of there with my brakes scraping worse. I had just paid for this safety? I called back to see if they could explain what had just happened to me. They only could say that I should have been given options being my financial situation . I knew they would not make good on ripping me off, so I went and bought brakes from an auto store in hoping I could get them installed through a friend of a friend. " Honest 1" said they would put those back breaks on for 79.00. They would not be the top of the line brakes put on my 2005 chevrolet without giving me options. A1 "honest Auto" has refused to respond to the Attorney general, and would not give satisfactory answers to the Better Business Bureau. . They reported to the Better Busibess Bureau that they responded to the Attorney General, until I forwarded the letter from the Attorney Generals office that they had no response from A1 Auto. I hope in writing this, people are not taken advantage of as I was. I was told 100% satisfaction guaranteed , until I called them on it, I was not satisfied , nothing was done...Nothing. The Better Business Bureau cane up with the same reckless results. The A1 " auto care had no response, as do all honest people whos integrity is on question .

Great service, Knowledgeable and Friendly Staff, Clean waiting area, and Excellent fair prices! I scheduled an appointment online, and then had someone call to confirm my appointment and what services I would need completed at that time. He even asked how to pronounce my name! (Seriously, you have no idea what that means to a person with a name that can be pronounced different ways!) When I arrived I was greeted immediately and they checked in my vehicle for service. I was able to wait in the clean comfy waiting area. They even have excellent WiFi service while you wait! Oh and if you are worried about waiting with children - worry no more - they have an area for them, too!!!! Futhermore, the restroom was clean (wow, a repair shop with a clean restroom?!?!) After my service was completed, a very knowledgeable employee explained what was done, and even suggested items that might need attention in the next 6 months (sooooo much nicer than going again in 3 or 6 months and hearing it needs to be done NOW). I have been recommending this place to everyone I know, I will absolutely be getting all of my service done here from now on! Kudos to you all!!!!

Do NOT go to this place! No Stars! I took my car there for an oil change the next day I noticed my car was leaking oil. I took it back in and was told my my oil pan gasket would need to be replaced at the tune of $500, they gave me 20% so I did it. Within a week my oil light was on because ALL of the oil had drained out again. I brought it back in they and they said it must have been a defect and replaced it. That night I parked the car in my driveway and noticed a HUGE oil stain the next morning so i took it to the Toyota dealership. Toyota told me it was the oil pan gasket so I took it back to Honest 1 once again since it was under warranty. Honest one said it must be the Timing Gasket which would run me over $800! I declined to let them do the work and took it back to Toyota. My car is now oil leak free! Toyota replaced the Oil Pan Gasket for $400 (cheaper than Honest -1) and did it correctly on the first try. I would never go to this place again even for just an oil change, my car NEVER leaked until I brought it to Honest-1.

Great experiences over the last few visits. Great prices. They stood behind their work. Easy/open communication. Flexible hours. I have not had a better experience with any other garage. They suggested putting a new/rebuilt transmission into my car to fix an ongoing clunking problem (which it eventually did). I called around for a quote before allowing them to continue and was not able to find anyone lower in price. The initial rebuilt transmission they put in failed within a week. It was a part failure, not labor related. No “New” transmissions are available for my 1999 car so a poorly rebuilt transmission from their supplier was a known risk. Parts, Labor, Rental Car, Oil change, Tire rotation were covered. It was relatively low-hassle while the second transmission was being put in. They have also provided additional (a lot) diagnostic time at no-cost for me since that visit for other car issues.
