My son who is 19 had a break down and left his car in the parking lot at Crosstown Auto as it wasnt drivable. The mechanics said they could look at it for him and he said that if they did he wouldnt pay for it as I have a mechanic that does all of my auto work and his car would be towed away. Crosstown did look at it and quoted him $800 to fix the problem and they wouldnt let him tow his car without paying their fee to look at his vehicle (Remember, my son said that he wouldnt pay this fee). The car was towed to my mechanic and they agreed that he needed some of those repairs although what was missed is that the engine also needed to be replaced. Their mechanic did not look deep enough into the issue and if the car was repaired their we would have been out $800 because he wouldnt have replaced the engine due to the additional $3000.00 cost. I would not recommend Crosstown auto to anyone as they may be good at the little things although when it comes to real repairs they dont seem to be experienced diagnosing these things. By the way - they wont refund the fee to my son even though he never gave them permission to look at his car for a fee.

Very disappointed! My first visit as a new customer I felt with Cory and Perry owner and manager they were polite and didnt recommend more than I needed however the new employee (young man) took all day and was just a ball joint replacement I watched and noticed they dont use the proper tools such as a hydraulic "press" they used a torch and hammer something a back woods garage might use not an ASE certified shop at 150 an hour btw the shop was empty and not busy what stop ever however I felt it may have been isolated unsatisfactory service so given the second visit different vehicle I Was told a hose replacement would cost 900 dollars and take 5 days when the part was in stock! I left taking my business elsewhere. Furthermore to add to it I I was left cleaning grease off my interior driver A pillar and found a fresh dent scrape on the driver door. I will never go back to this place and would recommend that you watch closely and do not trust they will take care of your vehicle. If you want to risk it that is , I Hope you have better luck!

Brought my truck here because its close to my job and I had a coupon for a $13 oil change. Mentioned my truck was pulling to the left and Id like them to check the alignment as well. Turns out my alignment was fine, but the left camber was bad. Gave them the go ahead to fix it. BIG mistake! When I got my truck back the wheel well skirt on the left side was shredded and hanging in the wheel well and the alignment was way off. Far worse than it was initially. I brought it back. They zip tied the skirt back in my wheel well and assured me theyd fixed the camber/alignment issue. Again. My truck pulls harder to the left than it ever has and doesnt drive the same. I will never be back and wouldnt recommend their services to a soul.

A friend of mine used a 13.95 coupon for an oil change the other day and Cody said that they charge shop supplies of 1.99 which includes topping off fluids. The issue is that they didnt tell my friend that prior to doing the oil change that that was what the charge was used for......then....they DID NOT do the top off of fluids. I know....charge someone for something and then dont do it..??? I talked to the owner and he said it must be a "quality control" issue and he would address it. Use your own judgement about getting service from a place that says they are charging you for things that they never complete. hmmmm.... I wont be back there for any service for my vehicles.
