I had Burnsville Auto swap springs on a pair of front struts. The Tech there used a vice grips to hold the shaft when tightening the top of the struts. These pliers marks scored the strut seals causing the oil in the struts to leak...the struts went bad in week. I then purchased replacement struts. When removed...and after inspecting the faulty struts it was visually obvious what had happened - Burnsville Auto were the only people that touched my struts - the tech used a pliers on the shaft - plane and simple. I called Burnsville Auto Repair and explained to them the situation. The guy who answered was a new employee (not even there when I had the work done) yet did not believe me, did not care to see the faulty struts if I brought them in, told me that using a pliers is not the process (I agreed with him a pliers on the shaft is wrong!!). Regardless of their process the tech DID use a pliers on the shaft. I am an Engineer so I like to think I can come to educated conclusion off an observation. They basically told me I was out of luck and I can talk to the owners if I had a problem. So not only was I out the price of their spring swap, I had to buy another set of struts, and replace the struts AGAIN!!...all because their Tech took the lazy way and used a pliers in my shaft...Im not happy with Burnsville Auto and I suggest you go elsewhere.

This place is great for quick things like oil changes but I would consider at least getting a quote from a few other places before committing to bigger work here. I was quoted $1500 for work here that could be done for $700 at another auto shop. On top of that, the other shop started to work on my car and realized that the part this shop told me I needed I did NOT actually need. A $900 part if I went through Burnsville Auto Repair... I ended up paying $350 in the end for the work I did need. Im not sure what happened. If it was an honest mistake or what... But I am sure glad I got another opinion. I would have been out $1150. Otherwise the staff has seemed friendly and I like that its family owned. Unfortunately, I will be sticking with the other auto shop for now on. Cars are expensive enough. And they are community owned so even better!

I have had work done several times from these guys and they consistently exceed my expectations! It is really hard to find a shop that not only has fair pricing BUT has amazing customer service. Perry and his crew are proactive and always deliver on what they promise. And the fact that I get a free car wash coupon with any service is a bonus perk! I will be back!

Got a car took it in for work done, everyone was so nice an very thorough an assured me I was in great hands. They even picks you up free service to bring you back up there to pick up your vehicle. I am very very happy with the service an employees. I have finally found a home for my car needs an services! Thanks guys!

Ive only gotten gas and oil changes, but if you can get their oil change card, its worth it. Changes dont take terribly long if you schedule them ahead of time, and you always get a free car wash. They have a small waiting area, but if you are not waiting there there really arent too many places to "hang out" nearby.

Stopped in to have a screw lodged in my tire looked at. They came over and looked at it right away, removed the screw free of charge, and even offered to check my air pressure the next day to make sure the tire was fine. I would definitely return if my car needed work!

Very trustworthy mechanics! They went above and beyond when replacing the plugs and cylinder coil on my 2004 f150 truck. This is not an easy replacement on these engines but they did whatever it took and communicated with me the whole way through! Very happy

Recommended. Honest, friendly bunch. They are family owned and operated, and it shows in the service. Ive been going for years with at least four cars and Ive never been disappointed. It would be a mistake to judge them by the BP brand.
