The stylist Rita cut my hair too short and didnt know what she was doing. I was making a huge cut - cutting about 5 inches or so. My hair is wavy curly and when straightened extends an extra 1-2 inches. I wanted my hair to be curly at the shoulders. I brought in pics of my natural hair when its curly and had my hair straight when I came in so she could see the difference. I brought pictures of what I wanted and what I didnt want. Well she ended up cutting my hair too short to the point when its straight it reaches my shoulder so I know when it gets curly its gonna shrink even more to what I did not want. When I told her she cut it too short, she said "well you said 5 inches" and got an attitude. I told her yes based on the comb you measured with but I wanted you to use your stylist expertise and estimate how much to cut off so that I could maintain shoulder length curly hair. Lets just say people here have no idea how to cut curly hair, didnt listen enough (assumed that I blow dried my hair so when she did that it was not my usual curly hair but assumed that that was how I wore it when I clearly showed her my hair is way more curly and I dont blow dry my hair anyway). Its very disappointing because I wear my hair naturally curly 24/7 so now Im not sure how I will deal with it when its no longer straight and after I did the research and brought in pictures, I still didnt get what I wanted. Will not be coming back and if I do I definitely wont have her as a stylist. The only thing she did right was maintain my layers - the cut style is nice, the length she cut off is terrible.

I have been to see Solest here two times and was very pleased both times. She is friendly and very patient. She is obviously very knowledgeable about all types of hair. I left off a star (although Solest is 5 stars all on her own), because I did not like the atmosphere here during my visits. Several of the other stylists were taken aback by my hair and the amount of time that Solest spent caring for it. This was very obvious to me, and it made me uncomfortable. It was understandable the first time, but the experience was the same the second time and maybe a little bit worse. Even so, I was impressed by Solests professionalism throughout it all.

My stylist was Gao, she was incredible. I went in for a color correction after trying to dye my hair went bad. It took 4 and a half hours, yet she remained patient, accommodating, and social the entire time. She talked me through everything she was doing, and the end result was great. The other stylists in the salon during that time were also very friendly and social. Very comfortable atmosphere, and great service

I was in need of a new stylist, so I came here to check it out. Lauren cut and shampooed my hair, and she did a fantastic job! She listened to what I wanted, and made some suggestions which turned out to be the right calls. Will definitely be going back to her! Said she was newer and starting to build up a clientele, so figured I would write a review and highly suggest her.

The lady took another customer while my hair was processing and over processed my hair. I have spots where she burnt the hair off my head. This place has no front desk person, the girls doing the work have to take turns dropping what they are doing to answer the phone and handle the front desk. I will never go back to this place.

I went in to do hair color for the first time ever, Shayl was so patient, kind and very helpful. Took her time to make me feel comfortable and answer any questions i had :) I am very happy, also Considering i have very long hair, price was reasonable too! definitely would recommend her.

Went there with my friends, three in all. She gave a great hair cut but took an entire hour for each of us. Nearly singed my forehead with the flat iron even though I said not to straighten. Missed our dinner reservations and botched the rest of the night.
