Well. I tried this place twice previously, was happy, so of course came back! Third try was NOT a charm. Dinsmore straight up RUINED my clothes. This third time, I had a suit and dress dry cleaned, and a pair of shorts- hem fixed and dry cleaned. Details of the catastrophe that followed below.... My suit: Id had this same suit dry cleaned here previously with no problem, but this time when I picked it up, it had this weird pressing pattern on the pants. I thought it would go away/rub out, but nope. I am sitting here staring at my ruined suit pants that have all sorts of weird marks from pressing that are not going away. What happened? I also brought in a black and white dress. Upon pick-up, was not happy to see the pit/sweat stains still looked untouched. When I pointed this out, I was told its hard to clean black and white and they couldnt do better unless they wet cleaned it, which would make the colors bleed. I took this at face value. Until I noticed that somehow the colors already bled. There is this patch of smeared black over my breast on the white part that looks horrible- that was not there previously, and still very noticeable sweat/pit stains. So, you cant get the sweat stains out w/o making the colors run, but whatever you did do made the colors run and ruined the dress anyway. Awesome. Ive had this dress cleaned before at a place in the skyway downtown and did not have this problem. So, outfit number 2 ruined. I also have a problem with dry cleaners who think its ok to put holes in my clothes by way of tags/safety pins. If I care enough about my clothes to bring them to the dry cleaners, dont you think I care enough to not have unnecessary hole punching in them? There were safety pin holes in the shorts I brought in to get hemmed, and tag holes in my suit pants!! This is unacceptable. The first 2 times I came here, I was very pleased that they just wrapped the number around a tag, didnt puncture anything. Not so this third time. This time everything was horrible, and my clothes are ruined. Moreover, the pair of shorts I brought in to get hemmed and cleaned- they did not clean. I got them back covered in cat hair still (how I delivered them). SO confused bc my first two times here were great. Then everything went to crap. Cant say Im inclined to take anything else there to see if this was a fluke or not, bc it was so bad. 8(

First time there, a chatty drunken young lady was making the rounds trying to be everyones friend. I asked the woman at the counter to step in when the drunken young lady started hassling some Somali women by asking them questions about their religion, if they felt comfortable in the U.S. and other seemingly benign, yet potentially volatile/offensive questions. The woman behind the counter was too meek to step in. All she did was walk past the drunk and glare at her. I only stepped in when the drunk started asking me stupid questions. I said to her, "Please dont talk to me." She called me racist for the remainder of the time I was there. Whatever. She should have been asked to leave. Gave it a shot a second time: they dont take dollar coins. As in, the machines dont accept them--including the change machine. Maybe other laundromats dont either, but the woman behind the counter wouldnt give me quarters in exchange. Said her boss told her not to accept legal freaking tender. Id give it a third shot only out of desperation to clean my quilts. Other than that, clean, quiet. No TV (wanted to watch Packer/Viking game), but radio playing softly in back ground.

Terrible, terrible, service.. I live n.e. mpls and unfortunately in the past I have had to resort to the use of dinsmore cleaners. on several different occasions I insert the minimum mandatory$2.50 into the wash only to return 20 minutes later to find my clothes sitting in a pool of water... When confronted about the situation the little old lady and her unhelpful, foul smelling daughter looked at me as if they couldnt comprehend my concerns.. needless to say I was forced to pay, yet again, for my wash in a different washer.. i try to keep a positive outlook and returned to dinsmore cleaners.. only to have the drying machines fail me... So with that being said they have lost yet another customer... I will be seeking out a better, more hospitable, reliable laundry mat. I informed the unhygenic woman that I would be posting a negative review.. dont be surprised if after my review you suddenly see a bunch of positive reviews.. she is gonna call all her friends and tell them to write a positive review. I hope my review helps you to make an informed decision on where not to do your laundry..

This place has really gone down hill in the last few months. Three issues = Three Strikes - Youre Out! Issue 1: Lost shirt, had to wait forever while they went through every shirt in the place to find it. At that time the lady said if they cant find it I have to wait until someone brings it back. No offer of compensation for the loss. Issue 2: Picked up laundry the plastic wrap was covered in grease from the overhead gantry system. WTH grease and clothes do not mix. Issue 3: Lost pants. Asked the manager what their policy was to make it right. She stated they have no policy, I have to wait for them to find them. Her attitude was appalling, she was confrontational, had a "Im doing you a favor" by looking attitude. I choose to buy expensive clothes for work, I need to look my best. I also try to support local businesses where at all possible. Im done with Dinsmore. They need to work on their customer service, but when the manager has as bad an attitude as she does I cant see that cascading into great customer service by the rest of the staff.

I cant recommend this business. I took several shirts in for laundering and pressing. All the collars came back pressed so that the right side was higher than the left, and when I pointed it out to the clerk she just shrugged. She took the plastic off to look at them closer, and then I notices that one of the shirt had been ripped where at the right shoulder seam. She asked if the shirt was like that when I dropped it off, I said no, she said "well, if you say so..." and then said they would fix that. When I came back to get the repaired shirt, there was a charge of almost $16.00 for the repair. No notes in their system that theyd done the damage in the first place. I left the shirt and asked that the manager call me. I never got a call. When I finally called again, the manager was very short with me and acted as if I was being unreasonable. She took $5 off the cost and said that that was the best she could do. I needed the shirt, so I paid the cost, but theyll never get any of my business again.

I have been doing my laundry here for 5+ years because its conveniently located near my house. I recently purchased a washer/dryer and am delighted to write this review because Ill never have to go there again! Yeah! Here is my experience: There is one particular manager who Ive seen repeatedly talk down to her customers. The rest of the staff has always been pleasant nice, but I cant stand seeing a manager act like that...ugh. I made the mistake of using the bathroom there twice. There was NO SOAP IN THE BATHROOM...TWICE. You dont need much decor for a laundromat but 70s wood paneling doesnt help. Its common to see several broken washers and dryers with tiny notes on them that make them hardly noticeable until youre putting the money in (after youve put your clothes in). If youre traveling past any other laundromat to get here....youre making a mistake. Im sort of a loser for writing a review about a laundromat - but at least I have soap in my bathroom...and I never have to go there again! :)
