Had Richfield Plumbing out to give me a quote on venting a bath sink. The man who quoted it called me we spoke- He said they would need to return the home with another Individual to determine the best way to go about venting the bath sink. All good- Never heard from the company after that. I assume Richfield Plumbing is not interested in the work. So I had to hire another plumbing Company to do the job. 7 months and 9 days later I get a bill in the mail for $524.90 Bill says the plumber pulled off the sink from wall (which was held on by 4 screws) and the vent will need to be redone. Ive never ever heard of calling for a quote- the quoting process gets half way done and getting a bill 8 months later. Owner calls 2 days later to discuss - the Owner asks to split it, because regardless of what happened the plumber showed up to the house and has "time" in it. Cant help but feel I got the short end of the stick on this transaction. I hate giving bad reviews, but where I work we would never charge a customer like that. Im not saying this is a bad Company or they do bad work. But my job/quote IN MID PROCESS got lost in the mix, and 7 months later I get a bill. I would be glad to remove this review if i get the $250 put back on my card. If not - Thats my experience with Richfield Plumbing Co.

CAREFUL! UNETHICAL, POOR COMMUNICATION, "FAKE" FRIENDLY. I got an estimate for a significant amount of work-- $3000-5000. Paid $3000, which was my bill. Later, I got another statement for almost $6000. Thats $9000 total when I was told "$5000 is a high-end estimate as we cant predict how it will all go." That means their estimate was WAY OFF-- by 300%!! This created a financial hardship for me. I got hit with three late fees as I waited for someone to call me on the day I asked that they call (my only day off as I work six days per week). they only ever called on days I said I couldnt get to the phone. AVOID THIS COMPANY! FIND PEOPLE MORE ETHICAL! I have made a report with the Better Business Bureau and the state licensing division for plumbing.

Ill start out by saying they were the ONLY company to give me an upfront quote over the phone without any games or having to come to my house first. I just needed 2 drain lines cleaned of roots. $146 for the main line and $60 for any additional line, which I felt was a fair price. Brian was the one to stop out and he was very nice. I asked him if there were any "hidden fees" he let me know that the price I was quoted over the phone was indeed the price NO MATTER if he was here for 1 hr or 3 hrs. It only took him about 30-40mins to clean out both lines as they were in pretty good shape. Although I didnt need anything major done I had a good experience. :)

Who knew that a plumbing experience could be so painless! I was about as nervous as I am with a trip to the dentist when I knew I had to call a plumber! I love these guys and the way they do business! Unlike most companies who keep their rates a secret until you pay their non-refundable fee for coming out, they were able to give me a good estimate and actually performed the needed work for well under that. This saved me several hundred dollars over what another company insisted I would need in replacement parts & labor. I definitely will call Richfield Plumbing next time I need work.

Kitchen faucet install: Just called for a quote to save you the trouble: $139/hr, minimum one hour, charged in 15 minute increments after first hour. Time starts when they leave their shop until they return to their shop- so you better hope the traffic isnt bad. Extra for parts. For comparison, Home Depot quoted me a straight $149 for a kitchen faucet install.

Richfield plumbing came out to give me a free quote on venting two sinks and certifying the plumbing with the city. After receiving an ABSOLUTELY OUTRAGEOUS quote, I said no thanks. A few months later and I have a bill for several hundred dollars for that "free quote". Complete crap. Im calling the city to complain about this too.

We have used them before and are using them again today. Never had a problem with them. In fact, we call them for fixture suggestions and they have always been knowledgeable and helpful. These are the good guys of plumbing.
