Called Sims to come and look at our drain for our washer. He tried to snake the drain. This did not work. He put a bunch of holes in my dry wall to find the pipes and find out why it was not draining. Which is fine if he would have been able to fix the problem. He told me it was the way the plumbing was done and he would be able to fix this problem and would come back the next day to fix it. He never showed up. I called several times that day to find out if he was planning on coming back another day. He would not answer my phone calls or messages and never called me back. I should have turned him into the better business bureau for messing up my dry wall and never fixing anything. I dont think this guy wants to do actual plumbing work. I think he only wants to snake drains because it is easy and gets $75 for 10 minutes of work. I would not recommend this guy at all. Do yourself a favor and call AMPM plumbing. I called them afterwards and they treated me right.

I sent a text to the phone number I found online in the evening to see if Sims could find the cause of a leaking bathroom in my townhouse. I was impressed because they texted back around 11:00pm that evening saying they could be out the next day. After spending about 30 minutes at the house the plumber called and said it wasnt a plumbing issue, but the tub had a hole and needed fixed. I paid the $83 service fee and had someone come out and fix the tub only to still have a leak. I called Sims twice a day for a full week to please come out and finish what they started to get NO response; no phone call, no text, nothing. I gave them two weeks to respond and then called another plumber. I was very disappointed and would recommend Golden Rule out of Grimes. They were friendly, fast, and knowledgable. I was really hoping for a different result, but Im glad to have found someone reliable I can call for future issues.

I called Sims Plumbing on a Thursday afternoon to come out and fix a toliet where I work. They told me that someone would be able to come out the following day (Friday) between 10:00 a.m. and noon. Well 12:30 comes around and there is no one here. No one bothered to call me and let me know that they were running late. I was told that there was an emergency that they had to attend to and that someone would be there before the end of the day. NO ONE BOTHERED TO SHOW UP AND NO ONE BOTHERED TO CALL. Now it is Monday morning, still no phone call. If you want to use a company that cannot even bother with a courtesy call then I would recommend Sims. However, if you are like me and do not appreciate business that blow you off and dont even bother to call you then I would NOT RECOMMEND USING THEM. I would not be surprised if they go out of business in the near future due to their lack of customer service.

I called these people on a Saturday afternoon to fix my whirlpool bathtub as it was making a humming noise and wasnt working. The guy said that it didnt sound too good and that it was probably the motor. I was told that the visit would be free and that only if he had to cut open the panel he would charge me $78 and he would be there by 10:30-11am. The guy was running late (i had to call and ask when he was coming) he came around 11:45. Turned on the whirlpool, filled it up and just pressed the button 5-6 times and it was working. He charged me $83 (including tax) because according to him it wasnt working when he came but, working when he left. I told him your visit was suppose to be free but, he just kept repeating but, it is working now.....seriously i am not using them again.

Call a different plumber. I called this place at 7 am when my basement flooded from last nights rain. They said sure, we can fix it. Well be there mid morning. I called them back at 11:00 to see where they were. Then they said theyd be here early afternoon. I would have appreciated a courtsey call at least. I doubt theyll show but well see.

I called this plumber to get help with one of our offices. He answered the phone "what?!" and before I could get anything out he screamed in my ear and hung up on me. He was very unprofessional and rude and I will not be calling him again.

Great service, friendly, prompt, and very reasonable. I had a leak behind my toliet and had to shut the main water off. I called in the morning and Ken was at my house by mid day. I will use him again!
