I have used this service three times. The son, Terry Overacker Jr., replaced a garbage disposal unit for a fair price and his work was excellent. I would hire him any time- its his Dad who is the rip-off artist! Next time I called, I got Terry Overacker Sr., who charged way too much (I forget for what...) The third time, last week, Terry Overacker Sr., charged my widowed mother $365.00 for twenty dollars worth of material and twenty minutes of his time. I had no idea what he was doing as I have no plumbing experience but it turned out he put in a "ball joint" or a turn off valve. I told him, if he charged my Mother that - I would pay him (because I had agreed to- even though I had no idea what he was doing...)but would never use his service again as it was literally less than twenty minutes of his time and $20.00 dollars worth of material! I confronted him about the cost and he told me I was paying for his "EXPERTISE." I told him that Id rather pay someone a lot less for less expertise... He took advantage of the fact we were ladies and had no experience with plumbing! My Mom has COPD and widowed... He is a shark and I will never call this company again!

terrible experience, ruined our floor and the bedroom wall, made excuses, bragged about their work and completely messed up the job. We had Mr. Overacker and his minions out three times (Terry wanted to come out again) for a very simple re-plumb and shower stall install. When they were finally through (after having to tear out the poorly installed first stall that they screwed up) we had hours of work to fix what they had done! Poor workmanship, arrogant and overly expensive, when I complained he stated he "wasnt going to do the job for free!". We had to stop payment on the check (they demanded before work was finished). Then Overactor made a foolish attempt to run the check through two more times. If he had been successful I would have sued this jerk! BAD, BAD, BAD!!!! We still have improperly installed plumbing and the idiots tried to get away with cutting apart old plumbing, re-using it and charging us full price. They left a large hole in the wall tore out insulation, installed plumbing against code, left a big mess, cost me lost work time and $$$,Go ahead use em for your house, but have a lawyer handy!!!!!!

At approximately 10:00 am on April 11 we discovered a leaking pipe in our family room ceiling. We shut the water off and called Terry Overacker Plumbing. We were told that someone would be at our home on April 12 between 12-3 pm. At 2:30 pm on April 12 , we called the office again as no one had shown up. We were still without water. At approximately 3:00 pm that day, two plumbers showed up. One of the men quickly looked at the leak and the area that I pointed out to them. One of the men called the office and then informed me that the problem would take too much time to repair but could return on Monday April 17, full well knowing that we were without water. The two plumbers left my home and I called another plumbing service, Ross Plumbing. Ross came to my home immediately, fixed the problem for a nominal fee. Very poor customer service on the part of Terry Overacker Plumbing. Will never call them again!

We used this company to replace a few outdoor water faucets 1yr and 2months ago. Recently with the cold weather, one has been acting up. We called to get help b/c we dont want our pipes to burst and Terry and another rep. Greg (who was extremely rude) gave us a hard time about coming out to repair the work they had done. They wanted to charge us over $300 just in labor alone for work they did just over a year ago. We expect faucets to last longer than a year and are extremely disappointed that this company would not stand by their work. We found a different company who will now get the job...one who will hopefully honor their work in the future. Do not use Terry Overacker plumbing unless youre looking for a quick fix and to be ripped off! Its too bad b/c we work off referrals and also take pride in giving them to other friends/neighbors.

I was looking to have a new toilet installed and first called Overacker Plumbing. Unfortunately, the rep they sent out was arrogant and a bit rude. When he saw the new toilet I had purchased, he made comments criticizing its quality (I didnt ask for his opinion on the toilet, just wanted it installed). Then, he tried selling me an annual plan before even giving me a quote for the job. When he finally got around to the quote, it was more than twice the quote I got from two other sources. I strongly recommend saving yourself time and frustration by skipping Overacker in your search for a plumber. I ended up getting my toilet installed by an independent plumber, TJ of TJK Plumbing, a really nice guy who got the job done for a very fair price.

We first tried a different plumbing company that dug into the wall, and temporarily fixed our problem. They recommended the solution of bigger PVC pipes. This sounded odd to us, and when the problem occurred again, I decided that we should call Terry Overacker plumbing, as I had used him in other areas before. Terry was able to come out and accurately assess our situation, and fix it with no problem (and not get into the wall)! This was a great relief for us and he offered up additional solutions that would make our situation even better. Terry is a solid value and I highly recommend his company/services. Fields family

I have had occasion to use Overacker Plumbing on several occasions including, just recently, drain clearing and repair. We have an old house with old (1905) plumbing, a lot of which needed replacing. It was done quickly, efficiently, and at a reasonable price. I expected quality work and I got it, excellent quality. Would I use them again? Definitely. Would I recommend them to others? Definitely. All the bathrooms needed total replacement and Overacker Plumbing did a great job. Ill use them again (though I hope the old plumbing in the house stays healthy for a little while).

Terry Overacker Plumbing has done work for my parents on more than one occasion. Im sorry I wasnt there to stop them from ripping them off. My dad just called them again because they gave him a $50 coupon. They gave him an estimate for disconnecting, draining, moving, and reconnecting the water heater. Almost $1200.00. You can completely replace a water heater for less than that. Dont call Terry Overacker! I repeat Dont call Terry Overacker! Dont be enticed by a $50 coupon because you could use three of them and still pay too much!

I called Overack Plumbing for a quote on installing a wash tub and faucet which I already had. Took almost 3 weeks and 2 trips to finally get a price from them. Terry Sr. informed me that it would take his plumbers about a day plus to complete and the quote was $3500. I would think for that price I would be able to have one of Terrys plumbers out working on my house for a month! Save yourself $120 and google Anoka Plumbers.
