We hired Don Weld to bring the basement bathroom up to code. When he wrote up the work that was to be done, he left out a significant part, while doing work that ultimately was useless We ended up getting two estimates, and in both occasions he had a line on the estimate suggesting more work might need to be done, when in fact that was absolutely going to need to be done.. In order to bring the basement shower up to code, it needed both a new shower fixture and to be vented--he only told us about the fixture, quoted us for that, while failing to mention the venting, which even his own plumbers knew about. In other words, we paid for half the job thinking it was done, and then he sprung the fact that there was more to do. The inspector, the plumbers at Weld, the inspectors boss, and a new plumber were all baffled as to how this was missed. In the end, we paid another plumber (Ben Franklin, which was great) to cap the shower and remove the new fixture we just paid to have installed (in order to bring all this up to code). The work that was done by Weld and Sons was fine, but if you use them and see on your estimate things like "no guarantee" or a note that there may be more work done, expect that that will be the case. This has not been the case with other plumbers we have used in the past, and it was not the case with Ben Franklin. Also, thank you Weld Plumbing for putting your advertising stickers all over our water heater without asking.

Used them to fix a leaky tub drain and to do rough in and run plumbing for a basement bathroom addition. Their price was very comparable to other quotes I had recieved and their workmanship was top notch. Living in St. Louis Park, our inspectors are notoriously picky, and the guys were thorough enough to check with the boss on exactly how the venting needed to be for the city to approve it. Passed inspection without a hitch. The guys were clean, friendly, and efficient. I will definitely use them for any future needs. Highly recommend their work.

I just bought a condo in Plymouth and I had a leaking kitchen faucet and in the bathroom there were no drain stoppers in the sink or bathtub. The plumber Kevin was so nice and polite and fixed everything he could - also he told me about my leaking bathtub faucet which I will hopefully have fixed soon once my property management company gets back to them. It would be nice if they actually provided their core values instead of using some words as a marketing strategy. Poor quality of service, poor workmanship and poor attitude. No apparent checks and measures of quality and a defensive attitude. Will not use them again... there are too many good plumbers out there and do not have to settle for sub standard.

Used them both to clean out a clogged drain and for a basement bath remodel. Was really impressed - they did a much more thorough job on the drain than the company we used about a year prior, and all 3 guys that worked on the bathroom were friendly and appeared to do a good job. Pricing seemed reasonable as well. Highly recommended.

Excellent Service. Attention to People and Details... removed shoes on entering my home although, it was not needed... drain was clogged, he helped trouble shoot and resolve issue... If the issue is in a main line, they recommend an associate business which I assume would have their high standards in service.
