DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! My tenants called Tiger because of a frozen pipe in the garage. Dustin showed up and shut off the water to the pipes in the garage and noticed a pinhole leak in the main line by the water meter. He replaced 2 of pipe with a new valve (not needed) and he charged $1200 for the visit. This did not include the repair to the original frozen pipe. He stated that he would need to come back and give a separate estimate for this repair. The tenants informed him that I was the owner and gave my phone number. I was not called until the repair was completed. When I called the office I was told that $600 of the cost was for future repairs and I could be refunded this amount. Dustin refused to send me the itemized bill and I had to request a copy from my tenant. This bill was sent almost 3 weeks later (no receipt at time of repair). When I did receive the itemized bill, the future repairs were only $385 of which my tenants received a refund check. Dustin told me that the repair he did perform was only temporary. He did not have a brass union and charged the fee of $385 to re-repair the leak. Overall, he charged $800 for a repair that should be $200-$400 based on local averages for this type of repair. This man and his small company have a history of overcharging for repairs (see other reviews). I have instructed them that they will not be welcome in my house in the future and my tenants will not be calling them either.

Called around 8 in the morning, was told someone would be over by noon. After 6 in the evening a technician shows up to put in refrigerant and does not check for leaks in any way. Charges 500$ plus 100$ "after hours fee". The only way to avoid this never before mentioned after hours fee is to pay for an additional 200$ visit another day and therefore lose another 100$. Less than a month later the refrigerant has leaked again since the problem was not managed as it should have been initially. UPDATE 7/20/17: We have been emailed by brian and he is willing to refund us the price of the refrigerant they added to our air conditioning if we "edit or remove this post" but we are still charged with an $199 service fee. We will not remove this entire post because we think it would be dishonest to pretend we didnt have this issue but they have worked with us to get our money partially refunded (with stipulation). We will continue to update if we have futher negotiations with them. They are now accusing us of slander but, ITS NOT SLANDER IF ITS THE TRUTH. THEY TRIED TO BRIBE US TO BASICALLY LIE ABOUT THEIR SERVICE AND WE REFUSED. CALL MCQUILLAN BROS!!!

These guys are top rate!! I did a huge remodel job and tried to do as much myself as possible, but when I realized my limitations I reached out to a couple of places. Im so glad I used these guys. They worked with me and advised me on what needed to be done and what didnt need to be done. I installed a new bathroom in my basement and also a bedroom. Sean was my main plumber and he was great. He worked long hours and always was available to answer all my questions no matter how dumb they probably were!! Like everything else you do when working on your house, it seemed a little expensive at first. After seeing the amount of work they did for me, it was worth every cent and then some!! I used them for both plumbing and some HVAC work I needed done. Cleaned up after each visit and always punctual. The one time they had a scheduling issue, they called me right away and then made it all work anyway. Obviously, highly recommend.

Our furnace was making noise so we had Tiger come out on a Friday to see what the problem was. They gave us an estimate on repair and I asked them what it would cost to replace. Steve gave me several options. Monday morning I told Steve we would like to replace the furnace. He gave me all the info I needed to make an educated decision. I have not had to buy a furnace in the past so I was not familiar with the different options. Ely was at our house within a few hours. I got home from work around 7 that night and my wife said they just left and that the furnace was installed and operating. I was amazed. I just want to say thanks to Steve, Ely, Beth and the rest of the crew. They gave us a fair price and unbelievable service. I would not hesitate to recommend Tiger to everyone I know.

I had the condenser fan motor replaced on my Lennox Elite air conditioning unit. The cost to replace it was $977. I was told that the motor was not a typical model that is commonly used. I looked up both the number of the new motor and the old and found them for roughly $100. I understand you may not be able to get "best price" as you are sourcing locally. I also understand the technician also needs to be paid. But $977 is a premium price to pay to have a small motor replaced. If I am not mistaken, Tiger installed this unit. Im guessing this is a popular unit, and thought people should know what they should expect to pay to replace what is essentially a wear item. Your technician was upfront about the cost and did the job professionally.

These guys are very professional and their customer service is exceptional. If youre not satisfied, they will make it right. They know their stuff as well. I was having a problem with one room being too warm during the summer and cold during the winter, and they fixed that perfectly. They also stuck to their guns when recommending the right kind of furnace for my house. Another company underbid them by suggesting a furnace that would not have worked well for the size and configuration of my house. Now my home is always comfortable. The heating and cooling takes place gradually, without the short bursts of hot or cold air. Thanks Tiger!

A few weeks ago, when we were having 80+ degree days, our AC went out. That same day, Tiger was able to get us cooling and at a VERY inexpensive price. There staff was very friendly, knowledgeable and you could tell that they genuinely care.. They explained everything to us in detail and at no time made us feel pressured to buy anything additional. They did mention there VIP maintenance plan (which is a great deal), but again, they were never pushy. I was so pleased I even asked for business cards to hand out to some of my senior friends. I highly recommend Tiger for any heating or cooling needs. Cheryl

We had a problem getting service on our air conditioner from CenterPoint on our service plus plan because they said they dont do that service until May 1. I was astonished at taht and in a real bind due to family with allergies. I was recommended to call Tiger and did so. Dustin (the owner) came out on a Sunday within an hour of my call and felt bad about the way Id been treated by CenterPoint, who didnt seem to care too much about our problem. We are back up and running now! Thanks for the GREAT service and professionalism.
