I needed my plumbing checked for some large water bill issues I was having in my new construction home. I called Elander twice that day. Once to leave a message to return my phone call to have them come out and look at my plumbing and I never received a call back. I did call them back later that afternoon, and they said they would talk to my builder and call me back. They never called me back. I called them back to schedule the apt and they agreed to come out to my property to check my plumbing 1 week later, at 7:30AM. t 8AM on the day of the set apt, they said they never scheduled the apt and told me nothing was wrong with my home. They further stated if they come to my home and there is nothing wrong: They would charge me for their visit. My home is under warranty with the builder and with my large water bill issues ($400+++ each month since I moved in), I was very confused. So I attempted to have my issue resolved with my plumbing: I then tried to schedule an apt, I had an apt scheduled, they did not show to my apt, I had to call and ask for another apt. They told me nothing was wrong with my home (but yet NEVER came out , not once) and that I have to pay for them to come to my home and tell me that in person. They are extremely unprofessional, rude and disrupted my life for a very long time. They need to not worry so much about their large builders and contractors, and help the consumer that PURCHASES the product and help service us pions that also matter. I am so very upset by the way I was treated. Granted I am a woman and do not have a plumbing degree of any sort, but I should not be treated so horribly for something clearly wrong with my home.

October 2016 Russ was scheduled today to complete 90 day warranty work for Lennar Builder at my home. Since we recently had to turn the heat on, we were experiencing a ticking noise in the ductwork that was extremely annoying. Russ adjusted one of the trunk lines and it appeared to be fixed. Then he found another issue with the constant bath fans, which work as air exchangers for the home. He had to take each unit out of the ceiling and rewire it, because the electrician made a mistake at the time of the initial install. It was a good catch by Russ because this would have shortened the life of the fans and wasted a lot of energy. He explained all of the working aspects for the furnace, air conditioner and humidifier. I feel much more educated and confident with these components in my new home. Thanks Russ! January 2017 The ticking and knocking in the ductwork started up again and was more constant. It was interrupting sleep and extremely annoying. I reached out to Nick (Service Manager) at Elander, and he personally came out to try to fix the issue with the exposed ductwork that he could get at. Adjustments were made, however the ticking and knocking did not stop. Nick made arrangements for he and Russ to come back to my house. They opened up the floor to get at the root problem and fixed it for good! The first night during the winter that there was no knocking or ticking in the ductwork. Elander went above and beyond. Excellent work gentlemen!
