The Nick Leyendecker team did an amazing job guiding us through our first-time home buying experience. We had never owned a home before, so we had many questions and concerns during the process of moving from downtown into a home in South Minneapolis. We had been looking at moving into a home or condo for a long time, but rent prices in downtown finally forced us to get serious about it. Their team immediately set up viewings of locations we showed interest in and gave us more recommendations based on those showings. The team found us an amazing house that was exactly what we wanted and helped us negotiate the price down to where we needed it to be to fit our budget. They also assisted us in getting some additional money back for repairs that needed to be done to the house in the near term. And they fit the entire process within a little over a month. This was absolutely critical to us as our lease on our apartment was ending. Finally, when it came time to close, they worked wonders in getting painters out to the house to complete repairs that needed to be done before we could close on the house. Through a number of challenges, they managed to keep everything on schedule without us needing to constantly take care of things. They made what could have been a very stressful situation very manageable. As a same-sex married couple, there was also additional concerns of navigating the waters of mortgage and insurance with companies that may not necessarily be up to speed on the legal issues surrounding this matter. They recommended a couple of companies they work with that did an AMAZING job of making sure everything went very smoothly. I can not recommend the Nick Leyendecker team strongly enough. They did an incredible job, were always available by phone or text whenever I needed anything, and made the process run as smoothly as it possibly could. I will definitely be referring my friends in the area to their team when they are ready to make the move as well.

Nick Leyendecker and his team delivered superior service and guidance when tasked with selling my downtown loft and assisting me with the purchase of my new home in Northeast Minneapolis. I was contemplating a move for quite awhile, but it was imperative that I receive top dollar for my loft that I had originally purchased in 2008 at the height of the market. As I previously mentioned, as someone who has recently transitioned from loft living to owning a house, the Leyendecker team was also able to make my transition a lot easier by connecting me with fantastic contractors, plumbers, electricians and even cleaning services! Not to mention the mortgage company with whom they have a longstanding relationship. It was the EASIEST closing I have ever experienced or heard about from other friends of mine who have gone through the home buying process. Moving can be the one of the most stressful events in ones life, but my partnership with Leyendecker team has proved that moving doesnt have to be as stressful as one may think. I had superb experience and I have already recommended this group of professionals to several of my friends.

I was lucky enough to work with an agent from The Nick Leyendecker company when I first bought my home and I was really impressed with two things 1) They were very knowledgeable and clear on the process and guiding me through the selection, evaluation and purchase. 2) Nick and his team are truly kind people who want to do a great job for their clients. I really felt like they were good friends helping me through a major financial decision & based on their actions and words I grew to trust them. So much so, that when I got ready to sell my Condo and contemplated on selling it myself, I recognized that going back to work with Nick and his Team that I was going to have the best of both world, A) I would leave most of the work up to them and trust they would manage the unit while I was away for the winter B) That they would get and negotiate max dollar for me. My wife and I were recommended to Nick through other friends. Our dealings were with Matt as he deals more with the purchasing of homes and Nick is more involved on the selling side of things. In this case we we looking to buy our first home. We really put Matt through the ringer. Unsure of what exactly what it was we we looking for or what area of the Twin Cities we wanted to look, we set out on a voyage to the four corners of the metro. Matt was very quick to respond on all occasions, and made himself readily available to our cause. The whole buying process was very relaxed and comfortable for us. We never felt as if we were being pushed into buying a home, and he was insistent that we get a place we were comfortable with. Throughout the buying process Matt was the calm amidst the storm. Your experience with Nick goes well beyond Nick himself. You will be working with the entire Leyendecker team... and they are an amazing team! The initial walk-through with Nick was very encouraging and clearly laid out the journey in front of me. Then came my consultation with his staging and renovation team. Their insightful knowledge of the current marketplace surprised me with some very bold, yet cost efficient renovation and upgrade recommendations.
